[Plugin] Giles Stash & Loot Rule Replacer

Had major problems regarding plugin getting stuck during town run.
Fresh re-install fixed everything.
now its working excellently.

Great - more people need to do this. I know that "installing a fresh copy of DemonBuddy into a fresh clean folder, with fresh copies of plugins" SOUNDS like a cop-out, but it really does fix problems!

If you have a lot of problems, then create a new empty folder, install a newly downloaded copy of DemonBuddy into it, install only new/updated plugins, and run DemonBuddy manually. Rule out all the many problems that can stem from having an old install folder which can slowly get messed up files, paths, and all sorts of other issues!
 
this is why you pick up ilvl 53 Jewelery btw... Thank you for your continued work. I'm still having a few bugs I'm working out but it's great! Not picking up any Tome of Secrets and it's checked and it blacklisted an ilvl 63 bracer this morning. I don't really care though, I'm happy with what I get while working all day and sleeping all night. The only reason i want to fix tomes is, I craft non stop and this was saving me money! Great work though!

That's a great ring - and yes, that's why the defaults now pickup level 54+ yellow jewelry, excellent to see that working out! :D Tome of Secrets thing may be a bug with the config file saving for tomes, plans and follower item options - which if it is, is fixed in the version due out late tonight (1.8.4 next version), so keep your eyes peeled for that update!
 
thanks for the great work Giles, been using this in combination with your World Object Handler and I must say this last version is working much smoother than the previous ones, and it seems to miss less loot overall, too!

I can vouch for this, after a fresh install all my problems even with getting stuck consistently just simply vanished. The feel of the bot is way smoother and cleaner.

Can you go to config, set the settings as you want them, and click "Save Settings" - then go into the plugin folder (/Plugins/GilesStashReplacer/) and open "StashReplacer.cfg" - and paste the contents of that file here? (paste it into a

 box you could). Also can you list all plugins you are using, and confirm if you are loading DB normally, or using some kind of relogger/batch-launcher for DemonBuddy&Diablo?
 
After the last update.. mine is also just looting everything. Plus i think town run is kinda broken too, selling gems and stuff.
 
for some reason, no matter what options i choose, the bot will vendor all my potions away, end up dying quite a few times because there's no potions to use.

And as users above have posted and as recommended in the common problems section of post #1... yes, a *CLEAN* install of DemonBuddy in a *NEW* folder, only reinstalling plugins that are *UP-TO-DATE* (not weeks old)... really does fix problems.

If you have gone through that and still have problems, please post back with a full list of all of your plugins, confirm that you are not launching DB through any form of relogger/auto-launcher/batch-launcher, and that you have set the config screen to "Use Giles Filters Below".

so this plugin does not work with reloggers??such as drelog or dbrelogger??

DId it now. All new install, same issue. When i press save settings it creates the .cfg file, however it's all empty.

All plugins i'm using is this and Stove's goblin plugin. That's it. :)

And i'm also not using anything to launch DB in a certain way.

Great, thanks! Empty config is a bad sign - some sort of file access error. Would you be able to start DemonBuddy up (just so it's a whole new logfile so it's not gigantic), go to plugins, click mine, click config... click "Save"... close DemonBuddy... confirm that the "StashReplacer.cfg" config is still empty, and if it is, send that new log-file to me (in your /logs/ folder in DemonBuddy)? Either in a forum PM if you want to keep it private, or on here - forum attachment, pastebin log, or any other way you can. I'll see if I can find out why there's an empty config - a few people get this problem, but so far I haven't been able to see their logs to try and figure it out!

1.8.4 comes out later today (next hour or two, maybe longer depending on if I can get a log from faustoo soon enough and see what the problem is with blank configs, if so might spend a bit longer trying to get a fix in for that) - and lots and lots of tweaks & improvements to scoring again (haven't touched scoring since 1.6.x test versions I think, not sure). Including specifically some improvements for crit % damage and % crit chance jewelry (but loads of other stuff too)! Yays! :D Once I have 1.8.4 out, I'll want people who feel patient to go through their current stash items and re-test everything, see how the new scores feel for stuff, and will get back to improving scoring again.

Great, thanks! Empty config is a bad sign - some sort of file access error. Would you be able to start DemonBuddy up (just so it's a whole new logfile so it's not gigantic), go to plugins, click mine, click config... click "Save"... close DemonBuddy... confirm that the "StashReplacer.cfg" config is still empty, and if it is, send that new log-file to me (in your /logs/ folder in DemonBuddy)? Either in a forum PM if you want to keep it private, or on here - forum attachment, pastebin log, or any other way you can. I'll see if I can find out why there's an empty config - a few people get this problem, but so far I haven't been able to see their logs to try and figure it out!



1.8.4 comes out later today (next hour or two, maybe longer depending on if I can get a log from faustoo soon enough and see what the problem is with blank configs, if so might spend a bit longer trying to get a fix in for that) - and lots and lots of tweaks & improvements to scoring again (haven't touched scoring since 1.6.x test versions I think, not sure). Including specifically some improvements for crit % damage and % crit chance jewelry (but loads of other stuff too)! Yays! :D Once I have 1.8.4 out, I'll want people who feel patient to go through their current stash items and re-test everything, see how the new scores feel for stuff, and will get back to improving scoring again.

Now it actually wrote something in the .cfg, checking if it's looting probably now.

Interesting, I went to work and set the blue items armor level at 63, so I've looted all the 63 blues and salvaged them when I got back home. Now what is interesting is that I've put back the settings on blue armor on none and he's no longer looting all the blues... For now :D
