[Plugin] Giles Stash & Loot Rule Replacer

Rugged Stompers [Boots_hell_base_05-204] [Boots] = 13177
102 str
217 dex
41 poison res
34 All res
11% MF.....
Questionable, though I am not an expert on its "good" ness

Yeah that's pretty good. I'm starting to think that for the items which can get stats up to 300 cap instead of 200 cap, I should treat anything over 200 as a "Bonus". Have a quick look at this maximum stats for each slot guide - have a look at the top table which is prime stats and look at the items that go up to 300 for certain stats. Can anyone spot an item that ISN'T worth a lot when it rolls over 200+ on a prime stat? Perhaps over 200 dex, 200 int, and over 220 strength for a bonus score on the prime stat? (since str always seems worth less for some reason).

Giles i think i found the reason for the fuckups... this is what happened yesterday:

Replaced whole folder, plugins everything FRESH, rolled back to DB v.180.
Ran with MonsterIgnore, WorldObject, Stash(1.6.1) and ProfileRestarter.

I run with the batch file so after 3 hours it kills all processes and runs again, what happened is that untill 00:30 i can see in the logs that it did infact stash items (also seeing this inside the stash), then it forces a restart, and from there on no matter what i do its fucked up again - the essense are kept in my inventory and everything gets salvaged.

Just did a complete reinstall again with 1.6.3 and the latest versions of your plugins, ill see what happens now.

So some issue with the batch starter not running the plugins correctly or something? I've got no experience at all with the batch starter, I've never seen/used it, but sounds like something is preventing the plugins from running correctly. If it always works fine right up until the batch restart then that'll be the issue.

Note that I am finding DemonBuddy randomly unticks/disables plugins when I restart it - I now ALWAYS check the plugins tab every time I load DemonBuddy and make sure everything is ticked. Could be this is the issue?

Ok some more info,
Batch is a pretty stupid program so after 3 hours it sends a kill command, waits 5-10min and then does the following:
Open D3, wait 10sec for it to load, Open DB with commands -pid (attach to d3 window) -start...

Thing is - it does run and it runs fine, as far as i know all the other plugins run properly and i see they are all ticked (inc the stashing).

I think that maybe the forced close of DB could be the cause of some error (sounds wierd as hell but i can't seem to find any other explanation).

*Doing more tests so ill give you a proper answer l8r on

1.6.3 Test Version
Junked this-
Armor- Pants 'Reflective Bounders'. Score = 13661
Intelligence=70. Vitality=60. Sockets=2. +All Resist=49. Armor=317

The combination of these stats are perfect for pants and chest, except for monks bc they duel res. Regardless of how high the stats should get a little score boost and it has +armor. Easy sell.

A lot of things aren't worth a lot if it just has 200+ on a prime stat.

It would need AR or Runspeed (boots) or Vitality or some sort of other bonus (crit, crit dmg, ias)
Blues could even roll over 200 on a prime stat, they aren't quite worth all that much.
TBH the missed boots is O.K., but just O.K.

P.S. You could probably alter quiver point scoring system as I'm not sure if it's currently taking max Disc into consideration. Max disc make quiver worth money, otherwise it doesn't won't really worth much even if it has good dex/crit

Quivers definitely need some work, I really have no experience or knowledge at all on what makes a good quiver (same for wizard & witch-doctor off-hands) - I only really have experience with shields!

On the 200 stats thing... well 200 does seem worth a lot when paired with good stuff... so how about over 200 ALONE isn't worth a bonus BUT - if there is a prime stat above 200 on an item, then any other scoring on good stats gets a bonus? So any item rolling with stats like high armour, high all-resist, high vitality etc. would get a bonus to all those things if it also had a primary stat above 200? They already get bonuses if a prime stat is within X % of it's max - but on items that can roll up to 300 in a stat, 210 is "only" 70% of max so doesn't get much bonus currently.

Good wizard offhands need
min damage 50-150 max damage 250-400
crit chance 4-8.5%
Arcane Power on Crit Hit +5-10 (Big one)
Max arcane power (not so big) +10-15
Int and or Open Soc
Same thing with a good roll on GF 17-20 (20s Max) or MF 15-18 (18s Max)

Quivers:
+Max Disc is a big one
Crit chance ( not so big bc they gain crit, still good though)
atk speed (default on quiver)14-15%
Hatred Regen (1.17 is max) any were in that area
dex and or open socket
and same thing on added GF or MF

no idea on witch doctor

From personal experience the things I've found that sell

Quiver = Dex (over 100) + vit + crit chance + socket + max hate/dis

Wizard offhand = high damage (low end, 50-100, high end 300-400), int (over 100), vit, crit chance, chance to restore arcane power on crit, crit, socket

Mojo = high damage (low end, 50-100, high end 300-400), int (over 100), vit, crit chance, witch doctor special to moves, crit, socket

don't know if this is what you were after but unless its a combination of at least high damge + int + crit I usually just savage it as its not worth an auction slot :)

Also capped magic find on all of these + any other item should be saved as standard, capped magic find seem to sell for a hell of alot of money.

Interesting bug I encounctered today. Not sure If this is the plug-in which is to "blame", but I think it's at least "one of them".

So, I use this plug-in and break taker with a pretty basic MF profile.
Today I saw this thing happen:
1) Bot runs for some time accumulating full inventory of stuff;
2) While on the last run the break taker decides it's break time;
3) So as soon as the bot is in town - the breaktaker initialises a break;
4) After the full break bot resumes the game and starts over in the checkpoint (not city);

After this the bot thread hangs forever and does nothing. Unstuckers and inactivity timers don't work (the bot process itself hangs/loops or smth like that).

Pushing stop/start button makes the DB-window hang and become unresponsive.

After a restart of DB (had to kill the session on the buddyauth site too) the bot correctly goes to town immediately upon joining the game and proceeds with IDing and selling and so on. But that hag is, while kinda rare, really brutal on 24/7 botters since unstucker/inactivity timer can't save from it.

iFaTaL & xenohadden - thanks for the feedback on the off-handers. I'll have a good think about them today and see if I can get the off-handers filtering scores on those specific things!

I think break-taker is to "blame" (blame's a strong word, as it's obviously unintentional consequences! :D) - but I'll have to look at their plugin code first. Purely from your description it sounds like break taker kicks in "no matter what" but doesn't reset things properly afterwards - so if DemonBuddy has started a town-run and flagged it's "I'm doing a town-run now!" flag - and then break taker stops it mid-run... when Break taker lets Db continue, DB still thinks it's in the town-run, and gets very confused. Complete guess at the moment, but it sounds like it could be the thing. Break Taker would need safety checks to ONLY take breaks if it isn't in the middle of a town-run (a town-run routine should always be allowed to finish first). I think interrupting mid-town-run breaks DemonBuddy's core behavior tree.

I had a legendary salvaged last night...with the latest version. previously with the old version, the same thing happened also.

not sure what went wrong.

Common bug with DemonBuddy failing to read D3 memory, nothing can be done without a DB patch to fix that I'm afraid. Db just fails to read items from memory sometimes and nothing will work for it (no plugin, no loot-rules, nothing) - restarting DB or creating a new game can fix it at random. Nothing seems to reduce the chance of it happening atm.

I also got a similar problem. I stopped using batch for 3 hours now and it seem like the problem is solved.

On version 180, installed the plugins, but when I hit config, i get a blank pop up window with no options. Going to try a fresh install, not sure what else to do.

Fresh install of DB and plugin should fix it (into new folders, don't just overwrite old Db folder/files). Double-check you have the plugin in the correct folder (<db>/Plugins/GilesStashReplacer/) and that there are 2 files in there, both called "GilesStashConfig" but one is a .xaml file and one is a .cs file.

my directory structure was off. I unzipped the plugins in a folder called gilesstashreplacer1.6 ect... and it messed it up.

Thanks!

saw the bot miss a Hellion Crossbow In A1 Champion farm.. so i moved the bot back on top of the item.. but it still wouldnt pick it up.. hmm.. is that demon buddy issue?

Yes, unfortunately. Pickup issues are always Db issues.

Came back from a hard day's work just to see half of a page in stash full of pretty nice items. Only legendaries which are utter crap, all the rare/blue items seem like a solid selection for me, so I guess the plugin does his job pretty good! =)
