[Plugin] Giles Stash & Loot Rule Replacer

Came back from a hard day's work just to see half of a page in stash full of pretty nice items. Only legendaries which are utter crap, all the rare/blue items seem like a solid selection for me, so I guess the plugin does his job pretty good! =)
Great to hear! :D It can only get better too, with user feedback and me monitoring my own "junk logs" and stash logs, I'll keep tweaking stat combos, items etc. just to really start narrowing down those "special circumstances" when soemthing is worth a lot or worth nothing at all! Am going to give some special attention to offhander stuff for the next test release too, as I've seen myself that the offhanders it stashes can often actually be worthless, despite having stats that would be worthwhile on any other armor slot!

My hope is to keep messing about with these little test releases I've been doing until the next DemonBuddy release, then I'll update it all to match up with the upcoming new item code etc. (I'm HOPING and expecting all the new DB item stuff to be ready next version) and we should have something pretty awesome with version 1.7 of the stash replacer!

Jewelry - Ring 'Veteran's Source'. Score = 12141
Strength=53. Attack Speed %=7. Thorns=209. +All Resist=54

This one could be sold for a million easily but it was trashed using deafault scores on 1.6.3.

Nah not really :P

Well, if i check the ah on eu for ring with 50str, 6 atk speed, 50 all resists the cheapest one that comes up is 1 million. :confused:

Bah, I always miss the good stuff -_-
Anyway that version won't work for me, as I don't ever salvage anything and it explicitly says that it won't log stuff that is sold so can't help with testing that -_-

Maybe when you do a settings GUI you could a salvage off radio button, got so many mats and they aren't selling, looked thru the code and figured I would break too much removing it myself :)

Noticed this was causing some funky behavior due to gold loot.

Was causing my monk to not attack very quickly or make decisions very quickly. I turned on diagnostic and noticed it was constantly identifying gold loot. Removed looting gold period from the code and it appears to be spending much more time on combat now - good thing since I run elite farmer

edit: NVM, appears to have been the monster priority

I noticed mojos and source offhand items have a pretty low score in my junklog and it doesn't list their damage, so i can't really be sure if they're really crappy or not.
Does it even evaluate damage on these items?

They weren't being evaluated on off-handers, but will be in test version 1.6.4 that I'm hoping to get out either tonight or more likely tomorrow afternoon, which includes quite a lot of tweaks to scores and some work on Mojos/Sources/Quivers to get their scores more realistic (sadly DB doesn't let me check for +disc/+arcane stuff for off-handers so I've done my best with just the main stats I am able to access in DB).

Constantly identifying gold loot is completely normal, default behavior of DemonBuddy. In fact it will constantly evaluate all items on the ground, all the time, even when fighting, until either it blacklists those items, or moves out of range, or picks them up. My plugins do actually optimize this to some degree (can rule things out and blacklist them quicker than default DB), but seeing spam in diagnostic log of items on the ground is perfectly normal behavior and nothing to panic about. Try DB without any plugins at all and watch the log-spam when there's items/gold on the ground that match your pickup rules while your bot is busy fighting monsters, you'll see the same thing ;) There may be other things slowing monk down in combat (I'll look at the posts on the monster priority thread regarding monk attack speed) - but either way, it's nothing to do with the stash replacer plugin or items on the ground! :D

v1.6.4 Test Version:

Ok 1.6.4 has quite a lot of score tweaks on the borderline cases, and a fair bit of work on off-handers too. I manually checked scores on around 400 items today, tweaking things as I went, testing and re-testing and re-testing until scores and keep/trash outputs came out that I agreed with.

Same as before - please let this run for an evening or so (or do a load of manual tests if you want). It's definitely looking far, far more accurate (both for trash decisions and keep decisions) than the last "full" release on post 1, so while I'm still calling this a test release, I'd invite more people to shift over to this and start using this test version instead.

Once you've let it run for some hours, or an evening, go through both the stash and the new "junk" logs (the junk logs get made for each item salvaged, not sold, as I haven't over-written DB's sell code yet), and see if you can pick out any items that you believe either definitely should have been kept, or definitely should have been trashed (borderline cases will always be "iffy"). Be sure to check AH equivalent listings first, check the only things listed don't actually have a lot more stats/higher stats than what you input before jumping to the conclusion that what is listed is worth the same as what you are searching for, and then let me know the items, slots, stats, score the plugin gave, and rough AH value (if it's one to keep). Same as people already have been doing! Thanks :D

(BTW: Don't forget to use the rule files on post #337 of this thread with the test versions please, and use Db .180 or .185, the latest two versions)

Thanks for the update, will swap it out when I get home. Should also see if what I put on the AH from my first few days of running this has sold or not has sold at all.

just need to figure out how to view the logs while at work from within the plugin directory, maybe ftp in or something to home.

just got home, another fiery brimstone in my stash, and another legendary that was salvaged, come on DB team, get your act together.

Team Viewer or Log Me In might help you.

Will try this tonight.

Teamviewer is actually quite uncomfortable for viewing logs and all this stuff, I only use it to visually control if the bot is running ok. =)

For all the updates/configs of demonbuddy I decided to use google drive.
1) Install drive on both PCs;
2) Move DB folder on bot-PC to google drive;
3) Now it will be synchronized both ways, so you can edit stuff easily from work and in real time watch it implemented on bot-pc and other way around look at the fresh logs right from your work PC.

Hope this helps =)
