So, First off i'd like to say no bot is safe including this one. It might bypass warden "Maybe" but its sure not going to pass a randomly generated database lookup of users with 50+million gold collected with lots of time logged on one char. (Under the Profile tab press "p")

This means that blizzard can then manually go look at those accounts generated and investigate to see if they are Real or Bots. Supposedly there is some reports going around that this is happening, Blizzard reps are poping into bots games and watching to see if they are bots or not.

So how can we stop this or at least prevent it?

The Follower. have the bot watch to make sure the icon of the follower is there at all times if it disapears because of more then one person entering have bot pause game for x amount of time.

-- This is serious and could get accounts banned. This is the only method i have thought of that could help remedy this course of action blizzard is taking.

You are assuming of course that GMs abide by the same in game rules of parties. There is no guarantee. GMs could pop in invisibly and there would be no way for you to see them.... Wow gms are invisible 99% of the time.

GMs popping into games is not a new concept... You kind of expect they do this when they start to get serious about it. This is why it's more important than anything else for the bot to behave like a real person and not look obvious, like some of the bots out there.

where have you read this? I saw a post on the hellbuddy forums claiming that a rep came into his game but any others?

Yes i saw this in HB forums, which i thought had valid points back in the day when i used to write Chat bots for battle.net servers this was before WoW.

Blizzard reps come into the channel invis.. but it still registered they were listed because the room count would show more then was allowed in if you maxed it out by filling the room. but this is beside the point..

Listen, This is a good way none the less because of the simple fact is you dont want to be caught botting period, and Follower disapearing is a good idea if someone did come in, Even watching a pixel watch where the icons of other players show up to stop people from seeing if u are botting if they SOMEHOW get in with u set to busy or turned off social.

Listen all you idiots keep posting, Its never happen blizzard wont do it. You have no idea. You dont know for sure. Stop being stupid and think would this quick check really hurt?

Don't use it if you are that paranoid

Lol. your Opinion is the stupidest opinon i have heard.

Then we should tell Honnorbuddy, Demonbuddy to not worry about Anti Warden detection neither because if your to paranoid you shouldnt use it.

Note: i use HellB 24-7 and i havnt been banned and you think im paranoid. Im just looking for more AFK detections. If you dont want to use it Make it so it is turned off. But at least allow us to have the option to watch so we can be semi safe AFK.

Yes, let us all have a follower while botting because a guy who heard stories about Blizzard reps ninja-ing into our games says so. Oh and he used to write chat bots too, we should trust him even more!

C'mon, if something of that sort exists, there would be some function in the client that handles the "stealth join" from the Blizzard rep, and if it even exists, I believe the devs know about it and have already found a way around it. You really expect the devs to implement something like this, without any sort of proof that such a check exists?

I will end this post with what swolbyn said: Don't use it if you are that paranoid.

GMs could pop into single player games.... Seems like an invasion of privacy to me, but pretty sure the EULA gives them the right to do as they please

No such things as privacy in their game they can do w/e they want and close any account they want without any warning at all at their own discretion.

Let em Ban my account. I will start another. Cycle of botting.

Wow seriously?

You guys are that stupid? really?

Blizzard runs around in MMORPG WoW stealth to see if your botting, and you think they wont do it in Diablo 3? but thats not the point if some how someone was able to get into the game or u forgot to turn off social its added protection. Many people who "Bot" have friends on their list and some times forget to turn things off when they got AFK. This is a needed option for a plugin not everyone has to enable said option.

You dont run around with a Follower for the extra 20% gold find or MF? Really?? wow...

If you think im paranoid why dont u ask for a bot with no detection for warden since you guys think that your not so paranoid.

Again, I post..

Anyone using this bot and any other bot can still get caught, and not by mistake neither.

Go to your account press P - This will bring up the Profile section.

Screenshot008.webp

You will see this, this screenshot was taken from another account im setting up. You will notice the highlighted areas.

They can generate reports from the database to look for x amount of coin collected and amount of time played and if there is only 1 char. Most botters only use 1 char per bot.

So this value can be adjusted as it goes along, A botter will ALWAYs collect more coin then a human repeating the areas over and over. and will also have more allotted time online.

So whats stopping blizzard reps from generating reports, Logging into the games created by those bots that are on the top 5% of most coin and most time logged. And see if they repeat the same pathing process over and over again.

No bot is safe PERIOD.

1) I don't know if Blizzard does that for WoW (never really cared, I've never been banned for botting), but it's simply different from D3. D3 does not have a "open-world" interaction - you can only interact with players when you join a public game. That is the main difference and why I think is not plausible for Blizzard to enter games in stealth mode and monitor it in real-time.

2) I agree with you on friends joining the game, I'm a victim of that but luckily those friends are.. botters as well.

3) I do run around with a follower in every single game.

4) I've bolded, italiced and underlined the word "THAT" for you.

5) We all know that. We never claimed botting is 100% safe, nor did the devs did. All we're saying is DB is generally much safer than the other bots because of the warden protection. The total gold collected in the profile includes AH as well, so it'll most probably include many legit players on the list. It's definitely not the best way to track but still the closest possible way to. And before you come at me with "they can track gold looted" - yeah sure, I get it and I don't care.

@ #2 - Turn off quick join in your "Social" settings in-game.

You obviously don't know what your talking about because AH gold is separate from coin collected. I've made over 10m coin collected on AH so far and im still 6m on my main account.

Then my apologies, I thought that was the total gold from both loots, quest rewards and AH. It seemed that way for me on my account but I've never really sold much stuff on the AH, so I can't tell for sure. I was just assuming. :)

So really the only thing None of us "TRUELY" know. Is IF they will join D3 games and what makes u think they wouldn't? Considering they joined Chat channels back in battle.net 1.0 invisible to check on clans. I think they will. And have been doing so to verify botting accounts.

I used to be a guide for Age of Conan and before Funcom i was a Guide for Everquest 1.

Each time we had to "investigate" a player we had to be invis, This is not a new concept, And Blizzard Made D3 Online for a reason to help protect against hacks / botting etc. They will do the same as any other MMO . In this RPG game.

There's always a possibility for everything, I'm merely stating my opinions on this matter. Chat channels are different from live games.

I guess we'll know by the next few banwaves... :D
