PokeLevel

Beta is uploaded. Those who have beta access: I am expecting a daily report of your testing, so I have some data for each challenge to work with. Also, I am in need of a horde player to be in close contact with me for a little while so I can make sure movement, healing etc is working properly on the horde side aswell.

I am Horde, and have shown lots of interest :) My question is how do I access the Beta?

Under "My purchases" on the buddy store. You should have an entry for PokeLevel with Sale Type "Beta". Enable streaming for that and disable the regular PokeLevel.

Nah, Nick, it should just be there. Maybe it's not approved yet? Does Bossland have to approve beta releases?

That was it. It's showing up for me now.

Expect daily updates from me. So far it's fantastic. At least the grubbles fight is somewhere between 2-3x faster than the old method.

Thank you for the beta invite, will start testing!

Up and running looks good so far. Testing the Grubbles/Scrags/Stings fight. The mechanics look really really good!


A couple of small issues so far - I will try and replicate and get logs if I can...

- If your level pet hits 25, then the next fight doesn't swap in another levelling pet. It keeps the one that just hit level 25. The following fight it swaps in a new pet.
e.g. Fight 1 LevelPetA goes from 24 to 25. Fight 2 LevelPetA stays in team. Fight 3 LevelPetA swapped out for LevelPetB.

- I've gotten "stuck" while in a pet battle, which results in the pet battle stopping

Hello thedon19. The stuck issue seems to be right when it's about to interact with the pole, right? Does it have any negative effect? The log snippet you posted doesn't tell me much.

As for not swapping out lvl 25 pets in time, I think I may have already implemented a fix for it in some of the other fights that I just need to copy here. This problem is the same as not healing.

Hi,

The logs dont really tell much, even with Diagnostic mode on.

I've seen the stuck issue show up during a pet battle before. Let me try and replicate something and Ill post a full log.

Ok was able to get it to happen during the fight. Looks like it started the fight with Idol not at full HP (not sure why). BTW Im using Singluar.

Ok, 5/5 times now scrags kills the scarlette, and then it just hangs. Maybe quit after he dies? Otherwise (horde) healing and starting seems to have 0 issues.

I think you think I am saying when Sting kills him - I means scrags, he never gets to sting. Bad luck I think, cause I finally got past on game 6 lol


I bet I have the wrong talents picked - my bad (doesn't it pick them for me? if so, they are not)

So it seems that is also related to not healing

I'll look into the hang, thanks. Yes, it does pick abilities automatically

Are you still having problems winning? My Starlette is a P/B breed, maybe a different breed could cause it?
 
I didn`t have any issues yesterday. But today the nexus whelping kills the first 2 enemy pets and then it keeps switching between the leveling pet and chrominius until the leveling pet dies. It never uses a spell on Chrominius.

I can provide the log but as before, it tells nothing. Perhaps we should make it a bit more verbose.
