[Party Plugin] SimpleFollow - Multi-Bot Party Plugin

Changelog:

Added more diagnostic logging (not like it helps since no one posts their fking logs anyways).
Added some FireWorldTransferStart() to various places for crash prevention
No longer using Combat TreeHook, just regular ol' Plugin.Pulse() for updates
Added WorldId check in FollowTag, will reset grid and clear navigator, should help avoid navigation/cell weight exceptions
Leader/Followers now use HitPointsMaxTotal instead of HitPointsMax to identify the leader bot
Fixed follower out of game join/resume
Fixed default ActorClass on Message
Added logic to ignore A1 banner 2 and force update if no banners found

Will post full log of all 4 bots next time I find a bug.
Should do some more testing later tonight.
 
Issues I have seen - LOGS PROVIDED! :)

Banners:
Followers often try to use their own or others banners instead of Leaders. This creates problems when you try to powerlvl. Guess it's not so much an issue if all bots are strong enough to survive.

Ressing:
My followers it seems are trying to ressurrect each other when they die? :) Creates problems when followers are weak since they get left behind by Leader who protects them.

Joining/Rejoining game:
When profile is done the bots leave party, then rejoin party out of game and then when they enter the next game they leave party again, only to rejoin party again.
Followers:
Profile done => leaves party
In menu => Rejoins Party
Enters game => Leaves party
In menu => Rejoins part and reenters game.


Will post more if I experience it, let me know if logs aren't sufficient or your need more.

Same issue, followers click on their own banners trying to get to the leader. They do try to click on the leader's banner, but they fail to do so. Then go on to try another, which is their own.

The plugin is working now, though! :D

Now it is working indeed, i have the same issues as iwaru though.
 
* Method managing 2 team on 1computer

demonbuddy clean install and then just change port number of following 2 files.
Settings.cs
SimpleFollow.cs
(ex.10920 -> 10930)
2 teams per 3 bots (total 6 bots) were possible on my computer i5 [email protected], 16GB ram

Added safety check to prevent leader from inviting followers from game lobby

(Obviously) Tested and working locally :)

Solves the join in lobby, leave in game and join again on second invite thingy for followers (tinfoil :D)


Last thingy still happening is sometimes skipping first flag (leader flag) and clicking all of them to return to the first one (usually resulting in playing with banner customization screen open for a while).

Anyway, hope it helps!

+1 for this. i did this same thing when i started using the plugin. ive been running weeping hollow only, so not inviting until in game sometimes has the benefit of getting to keep the scoundrel all game ;)
 
hmm

I have newest official DB, R-YAR, Trinity 1.12..
bot's join the game, party leader is doing normal run, however 2 other bots stand still in town (I have 3 bots in game)..What can be wrong? I've done everything as described in 1st post.
 
is there ANY workaround instead of deleting all friends from my friendlist? would it matter if all friends are offline + only the partybots online? :)

it invites online friends 1, 2 and 3. so it would work if everyone else was offline.. but if they did come online you could potentially spam them with invites for hours
 
Leader bugs demon budy not response

Hey i got this problem with every profile, from log i assume my leader is trying to invite 3 friends i think they join and then demonbuddy somehow bugs, folowers losing conection with leader and thats it

This single acount have something to do with this problem (i run it from other demonbuddy folder without simple folow

My follower bot will simply exit the game as soon as the leader bot creates it, saying "Leader is not in game, exiting"

:(

Posted a merge request on rrrix' git, if my solution fits his vision on the code it should probably get there by itself :)
