[Party Plugin] SimpleFollow - Multi-Bot Party Plugin

I tried using different Trinity Settings but I see none that stop the Follower from attacking. I even tried adjusting the Power Leveler to attack everything but in a fight, the follower will most likely end up dieing because he attacked something that the Leader did not. I just was looking for something that makes the Follower only follow and not attack.
trash pack size, trash pack radius, trash attack range, elite attack range?

this is what im getting, any toughts?

I gan get it working sometimes by having the leader start a game, manually inviting and porting on the leader. then starting the follower bot. sometimes it works sometimes it doesent :S
atm using it to boost a new char

Well i guess we more or less have all the same error, dunno if it suposed to work with non BETA .309 build but it is behaving the same as BETA .207.
Anyway, great work so far :)

what heroes you use?

you need monk, at least 1 in aprty right?
for buff %dmg monsters received?

so i have two barbarians and will leveled one monk
whati will better for last fourth hero?
 
yea i run this with 4 bots on one pc, it pretty much doesnt work, follower stops following all the time, just idles, or run around chasing ghosts.

i mean it works initially, but once you get into grinding after a few mins its not usable, and you have to restart then it will work for a minute or so and then same problem with bots just idle or running all over the place.

perhaps it wasnt meant to be run with 1 main and 3 followers.

could it be modified that bots will follow a human player?
my idea would be to control the party leader manually, would invite the bots manually and then once in the game, they would follow the human player.

Not completely no, you could run the leader without a combat routine or something like that. The WCP service is required to inform followers where the leader is when not within sight (client memory).

As long as this plugin pulses from the leader and the leader simply isn't doing anything operated by the bot aside from this, it should work (in theory). Haven't tested this however, and i probably wont.
 
Working great on my end, bots are wrecking shit doing great. Didn't read every page in the thread, anyone else having trouble with D3 and/or DB constantly locking up when this is running though?

are you using the latest versions of db and this plugin? the first version of db for 1.08 had issues with low fps and constant lockups, the first version of this plugin posted i had issues with the game not responding and eventually crashing. if youre using older versions of db/simplefollow try updating and see if it fixes it.

Thank you sir, i shall reinstall everything from scratch. I bet i have an old version of something in here.

1. i had the same issue, i changed it so that the leader only invites when in game and played with some of the delays (i guess issues like this can be caused by higher ping and/or a worse computer than rrrix tests on)

4. i assume this is regarding a town run? this is handled by demonbuddy and i believe taking its own portal back is part the routine, so unless theres a way to interrupt it you just have to live with it.

ok, thx for the reply, however can the code be removed where the party leader autoinvites the other bots? I wanna give it a go for fun on my main but i wouldnt like to delete my whole friend list for apparent reasons :)

oh wait, i suppose if i were to start the routine, when all my party is already ingame, it will simply skip the invite part, right?

tried it for a night. I encountered a few issues though.
Sometimes bots will just stop moving altogether, a few times they would not get out of town at all. Tried to pinpoint the problem but the profiles run fine when playing solo.
Because of the nature of the plugin it seems to me that meele classes are rather useless as followers when running with higher latency. They do not participate fully in combat.
Sometimes invites will not be accepted/send.
Great Idea though, once i get this running it should be alot of fun.

Running 1.1.4 from git for a few days now, haven't encountered the leader not in game issue once :)
