[ItemRules2] Gnillers Super-Tight Loot Rules

"Enable the folder you need" How to do it? Seriously can someone tell step by step guide so newbies (Like me) won't be asking?

It's simple just search by yourself next time (i use the "[ ]" for tabs) :) so you go to Trinity config then [Items] and [Pick up] you'll see choose item rules type then you select File based Script rules.
After that you switch in [Item Rules] you select Custom RTFM and finally you'll choose your Gnillers Loot Rules folder after dezip.

That's all, maybe you'll need to restart DB.

Does anyone know when the item rules actually get loaded into memory if ever? If i make a change to a rule file do i have to restart demon buddy in order for it to take effect?

Just press the stop/start button, they're reloaded each bot start.

Is there a chance of missing in this rule some expensive item or very overstated?
Do you have pleased users?

This risk always exists but should almost never happen, if mistakes are found report them to me i usually solve them within days :)

hey, nice, exactly what i would like to know: u have any clue what kind of items would be stashed if changing it to a) 110 or b) 150 ? :)

plus:
which legends are getting stashed would also depend on this value (@GNILLERCONFIG) only (or does it make sense to higher some other commands [eg. @GNILLERWEP] for certain legends)?

Increasing @GNILLERCONFIG multiplies the calculation output of ALL calculations used by x% (default 100%).

This means 150 would multiply the output to 150% of the "actual" output however this would not mean 150% as much items are kept, calculations are based on multiplicative values (in most cases) and with less stats these multiplications remain smaller. This way increasing @GNILLERCONFIG increases your items kept while staying within the use of my calculations, so items are still calculated in value "my way". You could call it a reworked Trinity scoring in a way :)

Increasing weapon specific rules does the opposite and i wouldn't recommend this unless you know what you are doing. @GNILLERWEP for Skorn is 3750 for example, increasing this means the calculations require a higher outcome in order for your Skorn to be stored. Meaning it will actually TRASH more and does the exact opposite of what you planned on.

Lowering rules for specific items would work, but i also wouldn't recommend this as calculations don't take this into account and this can very well mean basic drops are kept pretty quickly.

If you find something that seems wrong always feel free to report it to me :)

how can I add to the throw away list all the Downs, Heart Slaugher, Sledge of Athskeleng, The Tormentor, Flying Dragon, The Grandfather ?
is that possible. thanks

It already does, unless scores are reached but i haven't seen this happen :)

Running 1 week with rules 1.2.3 and 0 items on stash.. and 0 rares too..

im affraid bot sell some good legendarys and dont put it on stash. :( i got 2 legendarys hour..how its possible.. 2 legendarys hour x 168hours (1 week 24/7) = 336 legendary and all trash..!?

I assume you are running only 1 bot, in which case this does happen. Feel free to check your trash logs however and report everything wrong to me.

My bots are stashing as they should :)

thx, for this awesome reply bro! :)

i tried "150" for 1 day and it already seems to be better than the casual trinity hard rules i used before. i reckon, i just like "ur way" it works! ;)
maybe i will stick to 130-140 ~ we'll see..

I'm runing 3 days now with not only 1 bot and getting even junk legendarys. it is because I use another pickup.dis ?

to install this, I just have to enable file based loot rules in the trinity plugin section of the bot right? and then I have to copy and past the .dis files into the bot folder: "Plugins\GilesTrinity\ItemRules\Rules\soft " right ?

No problem at all! :) haven't tested what @GNILLERCONFIG keeps what prices of items, just tested the math on stability :)

Nope, probably because you use another legendary.dis :)

Jep, or any other folder as long as you setup trinity to use the folder you pasted my content into.

Yes 1 bot atm..

RNG mate, RNG :) if you feel like its trashing to much however: increase @GNILLERCONFIG in rare.dis. Detailed explanations on what it does post #126 of this topic.

where is your donation button ? you need to keep this running and updated for me :D

ok awesome. donated
keep up the good work

Now with identify all, wouldn't it be even better to pick up lower ilvl items for the chance of some sick bis shiz? Several profiles identify and stash items on the start of their runs so it wouldn't take too much longer :)

version 1.2.3 not fine working at RUS client? I must use only GnillerItemRules[1.1.1] - RUS ?

I have given this some thought but i must say in most cases i came to the conclusion: "spending less time on trash is still time wasted, just less". I do agree some items may use some loosening on pickup rules, but very few.

Gonna spend a little more time theory crafting before i release something on this subject :)

Have Trinity use ItemIDs instead of Item Names, it should auto-translate any version. Also 1.2.3 :) (Item Rules Tab)

Gniller,

Using the latest v.1.2.3., thank-you for making life easier!

Question, do your rules specify ilvl?
I cannot for the life of me get the bot to pick-up items under ilvl63.
I have already told Trinity to accept 60+ in the pickup section under settings, but no change.

It's my understanding that ilvl really doesn't matter anymore
so I wanted to widen to items the bot combs through...

What's your thoughts on this Gniller?

Cheers,
Stealth

how do i use this item rule i unzip it to my rules but how do i make it work with the bot? i try and change the item rules but it wont work. Thanks
