Where is the "secret update?" And how much better is the sub routine over tuanHA Rogue special edition?

The secret update was on the SVN, if you update it you will get it. The sub routine is good, but I have not tried tuanha so I cant compare. But I think this one is better optimized for raiding. If you want to pvp, use tuanha for sure.
 
Alxaw, any reason for "Fan of Knives" never to be used on a Sub Rogue in LFR, using Automatic Mode? Did 3 LFR's now and it's not used even once. AoE is set to True, and I do have 4+ mobs around me at times.
/edit: Tried Hotkey mode, set AoE to enabled, but still not doing it (or using Fan of Knives). My dps is actually dropping during AoE fights :)
/edit2: Had to apply Paralitic Poison myself, it only (re-)applied Deadly poison. Automatic Poison is set to true.

What specc in rogues are best for raiding atm. I am about 535 now.. and using combat now.
 
Assassination Rogue aoe does not seem to be working. Also would it be possible to have an aoe trigger or hot key?

For a fast fix:
*) Open Beastmastery.cs in YourRaidingBuddy\Rotations\Hunter
*) Replace "BeastmasteryTrapSwitch" in line 124 with "Beastmastery.TrapSwitch"
*) Save and restart Honorbuddy

To Do list ::

Make a minimum HP target for Traps and Serpent Sting. So we don't waste globalcooldown on low HP adds.
Fix Rogue AoE (mostly Assassination and Sub)

Of course the Main Hand and Off Hand poisions were set. I'm not a total idiot ;)
It just only applied the Main Hand one, not the Off Hand. Easily tested by discarding the applied poisons.
Thanks for replying; I'm looking forward to the AoE updates.

On a side note: The interface color for rogues is green/white. Waldo is orange/white. Pure is yellow/white for rogues, green/white for hunters, brown/white for warriors etc. Is this on the low prio to do list?
Mainly asking because one of the rogue options is called "Interrupt", and the help text says it's for "Pummel" and "Intimidating Shout". Don't have those on a rogue ;)

This will be possible in the new version coming up soon (choose a trap for your Singletarget-rotation additionally), but I would not recommend it, because it's a dpsloss in nearly every situation.
You'll cap on LnL-procs from Black Arrow alone (although you could set up an Ice Trap before the bossfight starts).
I sent Alxaw a few messages during the night with many improvements and I'm currently tweaking the Survival-Rotation further and working on the opener, stay tuned :D

Edit: To add some numbers... 350sec Raider's Training Dummy Fight (only with Aspect-buff, iLvl 527):
Simulationcraft: 134,0k dps
Without Traps: 134,6k dps
With Ice-Trap: 132,7k dps

It's not that huge difference xD

On a side note does this routine automatically cast Tranquillizing Shot to remove Enrage from the targets? If not could this be added using the same kind of logic as the Interrupts use?

And finally the SV Rotation doesn't seem to use Dire Beast is that correct
 
alxaw, when I start up HB with Tyrael, with only softlock enabled, and I choose YRB I get a popup message saying "I recommend to use hardlock" or something like that, is that you or nomnomnom?

Simulationcraft (350sec, Patchwerk, Elite Skill): 181.8k dps
Thok in Flex (370sec): 186.9k dps

There's no need, I'm going to add a blacklist list for serpent sting (in regard of AoE / Cleave) so that some targets doesn't get Serpent Sting.

I'm also going to add a different list for certain abilities like dotting damage, so we don't apply them on mindcontrolled players for instance :)

So will the rotation multidot all the mobs with serpent sting?
