1. Yeah I saw that. Searched for them on my PC and didn't them on any files or folders, would they be anywhere else? And if it's not these, what could I be doing wrong. I run the program default for the time being.
2. Will try next time I play.
 
Hey guys!

A new build will come tomorrow, that will fix some of the performence issues.

New TalentManager and a new way to handle the LuaEvent's (Thanks Nomnomnom)

an update for new version:

1. i checked and i have no such programs running in background that wouuld prevent hotkeys(other routines work just fine)
2. Elemental shaman spams chain lightning even more then before.
3. please do something about having to load settings on EVERY new version :(
4. could you match the version displayed in "select combat routine" window to the versions displayed on the buddystore changelog?

Hi ghost,

1. Which other routines?
2. Please enable all Diagnostic logging under General Settings for me
3. Save your spec settings somewhere else using the Save button -> Save Specialization then use the Load button for it. I only change Revision when there is an update in the Settings files so the routine won't stop working.
4. I'm sorry about that, I will try and match it next time.

This routine still feels very rough, here are some things i feel hunter should do

Multi-dot with serpent sting
Auto revive pet
Auto call pet on routine start.
 
One other thing i would like for Hunters would be manual use of focus fire. I am actually losing DPS because my pet can't keep his frenzy stacks on Single target.And you should also implement "Explosive Trap on number of targets"

The current way Focus Fire works meets 100% of the condition's in the MMO Champ hunter thread by Azor, which is the correct way for it to be done.

As for traps, the majority of the time traps are a dps loss anyway, there are few occasions where you really need to have explosive down in heroic content.

1. Multi-dot with serpent sting, no. You already multi dot with Multi-Shot!
2. I need to add a PetManager for this, I'll look into it. I had it on Bullseye
3. I'll look into this as well since I had it on a previous routine.

Hi Gbreivik!,

You can disable Traps under General Settings (Hunter Specific settings), you may also want to read what Offensive said in this matter in the post above.

hello

first of all, i tried all available hunter CRs, free and paid. i know there arent many but this only really does the best job in dmg.
well done and its worth the money to spend.

im a ilvl 53x sv hunter, actually only lfr SoO raiding. im a lazy guy so i like the CR doing the job.
but im not sure if my settings are good to squeeze the max of dps out of it.
framelock is set to 15 via tyrael.

would any sv hunter be so nice and gimme some setting advices or give me some hints how to tweak it a little ;)
i wud really appreciated it.

ps: i enabled auto target but when im in raid, it doesnt switch to another mob thats beating our tank.
shouldnt that be the way auto target works or does it only auto switch to a mob beating me?

If you are using hardlock with Tyreal, you should use 30 or 60 TPS, assuming you maintain a high frame rate in wow. Alternatively, you can run softlock and start at the highest setting and work down until you find a setting that works for you performance wise.

Here is what I recommend for a SV hunter of your item level:

Gems:
Agi
Agi/crit
Agi/hit

Crit > Haste > Mastery

The following settings are assuming you have AT LEAST 2pc T16 tier. OTHERWISE, set Rapid Fire to 'On Boss'. Also, at your gear level you may struggle to have enough haste to use high focus abilities such as Murder of Crows, so you may want to choose Blink Strikes instead of AMoC here.

I also recommend you go into general and set hunter traps to DISABLED. Traps, in almost all occasions, are a DPS loss. The times where you'd actually benefit from traps, you will have the opportunity to place them manually.

I recommend using Hotkey mode, as there will be times you do not want to cleave, but if you don't care about multishotting everything, then use Semi-Auto so you can control your cooldowns.

Hey Xcesius! This is an amazing CR for Combat as a Rogue for anyone thinking about buying this! Very happy customer.

Question though Xcesius. How is the development coming along for WoD. You running in this in the beta at all?

Hi Ninth,

I'm not allowed to say how "far" the development team (HBDevs) is on WoD, but I can say that I will begin tuning the rotations later today for WoD.

Or it's better to use the routine Oracle v2 ?
 
Current WoD Progress of the Rotation Changes


  • Deathknight is complete. Blood DK is just missing some minor things.
  • Monk has been started on, needs rewriting on WW and BM
  • Hunter has been started on, I would like to add MM as well after I'm done with BM and SV.
  • Mage (All specs) will be added on WoD, but I need to complete the "main" classes first.
  • Shadow Priest will also be added on WoD, but again I need to complete the "main" classes.
  • Shaman didn't require much of changes, just some minor talent supporting.
  • Rotation Builder is going nicely, there will be however no Ability Icons on it as I planned.
  • Rogue didn't need much of changing, backstab and ambush needs to be removed of "NeedToBeBehind" Target function.
    Also needed to support the level 100 talents.
  • Paladin as well didn't need much of changing apart from removing abilities so HB works with it. Also need to add the level 100 talent support
  • Movement support is added, still missing Pull Abilities so you can actually Quest/Level/Farm with it (Will be added into Rotation Builder)
  • The questions that have been asked.. Yes Warlock,Warrior will be added into the Rotation Builder so the Rotation Builder supports all classes/specs (DPS & TANK ONLY)
    And no, YRB2 WILL NOT support Warlock,Warrior or Feral Druid on a raiding level.
  • CombatLog and TalentManager has been fixed to support level 100 talents and more.
 
Hello Xcesius, first of all thanks for the awesome work on YRB2, I'm really enjoying the dps of this CR and I definitely look forward to seeing your work in WoD,
That said I'm encountering a couple of issues:

1) I'm using Templar (grinding botbase) with your CR now that AknA got it to work with other CR's other than singular, the botbase has a multipull feature, problem is when the botbase tries to swap to multipull YRB2 will swap back to the previous target, so the botbase will force swap again and it'll go in swapping loop. Is there any way to disable the swapping logic t'm not aware of? if so I apologize for being blind (again) :P
I understand if you don't want to provide support for this tho, as your CR focuses more on raiding (and does a damn good job at it!)

2) I tried to disable auto targetting but for some reason every time I reload the CR the auto targetting feature is enabled again, it's like it refuses to save that option (Hotkey settings and general settings are correctly loading the last settings tho)

Note: unluckily with templar framelock is disabled by default I know YRB2 gives best results with it enabled, but atm it's not possible to use it.

Hi Kavol!

1) Yes, there is a auto-targetting function on Hunter, you can disable it. It's under Survival / Beastmastery - Auto Options, "Enable / Disable Target Auto"

2) Please delete your old settings (As there might be some issues vs old settings) "Settings / YourRaidingBuddy" or "Settings / YourRaidingBuddy Premium"
