I?m arguing for a point, I know perfectly well what I am talking about here, and obviously not going to let anyone tell me otherwise, I work in this every day for 12 hours per day, my point still stands

Mac Address is software side, a hardware address is hardware two different things. and a Mac address is intended to be private and not be seen

"MAC addresses are most often assigned by the manufacturer of a network interface card (NIC) and are stored in its hardware,"

- MAC address - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

You are the child here because you know nothing.

PS: Learn more about networking before talking

Ive been around this block more than a few times... and you my friend are a moron...

I don't normaly post on threads like this cause its futile some idiot like this always things hes a smart cookie... when in reality he dosnt have a clue.

Here are the facts from someone that has made more than his fair share Gold farming wow.

Blizzard bands by cpuID / Mac / HID colaberations. I am not going into much detail here but this is FACT... This information is sent to blizzard when you click LogIN. capture the pacts yourself and read them.

Certain information like local hid mac is also captured when you are setting up accounts. (thoery not fact) BUT if you take 2 different sor accounts load them to 2 different bnet's from 2 seperate ip's on same machine there is a pattern that it triggers a ban on both accounts if it is done within a certain period of time.

Useing VMware / *****s only increases your chances of getting banned. BECAUSE you CAN spoof a HID... but a CPUID CANNOT BE SPOOFED...

here is were you find it in there logs...

WoW\Logs\CPU.... omg that is your CPUID hash# much like a vin on a car it cannot be changed or spoofed... by any lamen at least. No VM ware will spoof it... it might change the outside appearance... BUT in the end the hash is the same.

(if you are a mechanic you would know that you can change the vin under the windshield... BUT there is another vin stamped right onto the motor.)

Flame if you want.. but im right...

where did vmware get into this convo? We were talking about mac addresses not all that crap you started talking about.
