WOW Patch 4.0.1 - Gatherbuddy & Honorbuddy downtimes

Just aslong as The Safe gets updated and coincides with the release of a new GB then im fine,
 
Well done guys! And please - just take your time.. I am having a hard time believing that anyone on this forum would rather have a non-secure bot than a slow release. And then I'd just like to thank every single person who contributed anything to this bot, whatever it might be! :)

While I support those that are in favor of the downtime (seriously, stability is the key here!), bad timing on my part "taking a break" from WoW for the past couple months only to come back 2 days ago to bot, then it being taken down.

My bad... :rolleyes:
 
good luck with coding and updates! As others have said better to have safe, quality bot than rush it! And thanks to all the HBGB, CC, profile, and plugin coders and contributors who have got us this far!
 
Is this more related to security changes or just a case of class mechanics? If it's class mechanics isn't that really just CC's that need to be updated?

Both, and more. All CC's need to be updated, the core needs to be updated, security and offets need to be updated, etc.

So can we expect another update to be needed for the release of Cata? I'd imagine there to be quite a few additional changes at that time too.
 
4.0.1 and Cataclysm is practically the same, that's why it's going to take so long to update it.
 
Just wondering, why didn't you guys get this setup in the month that PTR was out, so that when the patch came live it was ready to go?

becouse they(blizzard) compile it with other settings like debug. so its not working that way
 
boa- does that mean i wont be killing bots for the next seven days - hahahaha

take your time - better done right and slow...er, than fast and sloppy.

I have problems to use honorbuddy, is it down now because of the change? Please answer asap :)
