WOW Patch 4.0.1 - Gatherbuddy & Honorbuddy downtimes

They always say seven days but hawker and nesox bring out the new version already after 3 days ;D They're the best.

at the end of the downtime the bot will be perfect in every way. just like it is now.

will we still be able to use hb1 when it comes out? because i really dont like the later version of hb

Also, I think it was Liquidator (?) suggesting that HB staff performs testing on the PTR to avoid these sort of downtimes. I understand, and agree with the way the functionality of the game is, they can get in there and test certain things that are changing... and I'm sure some testing has already been done. However, bare in mind that until the actual patch comes to live servers, they do not know exactly what is changing with the live version of WoW. My point is, what if all the changed content was on the PTR, and HB staff coded based on that... and then Blizzard threw in an updated warden in the live release, where there was none in the PTR version? Rather them take the time to polish up, based on what's released, then solely going off of what's on the PTR and we get surprised.

Divide those invites and start work on it (if this is not done already, as rumours suggested something along those lines).

imho, the predicted downtime is unneccesary and unneeded with so many options and possibilities to have a "working" version ready at or close after patchday.

Besides all this I just patiently wait for a "stable" release before jumping on the bandwagon again.

In regard to the Auth Servers,

Are you taking EU and US Auth servers offline at the same time?

The thing is the devs have been making use of the PTR server and have seen what is changing that will effect the bot. They have already found a workaround for the new security measures but it will take a while for them to implement them all. Plus they have to update the basics CCs that are with the bot so that they all work again too. We also do not know if the release will change anything then was on the PTR so they have to make sure there also.
 
If I get it right, it will only be 5 days for EU, right?

Because if US patch comes out tuesday and that takes seven days, EU will be able to bot until thursday ..

Did I get anything wrong, or are the servers not coming online before thursday the 21th of october?
 
If you're a poor assed college student like me, 7-days is a shit load. And every single penny you spend is a penny you most likely thought of not spending. I have a year long subscription, and to be honest I've had a lot of times with this thing [bot] where I get more downtime than up time. Could just be my luck. But that being said, I am grateful for the downtime. I should probably bold that for the people who just skim and tear me a new one. Again, I am grateful for the downtime. Thanks for taking care of us <3

Hmm were told from Hawker that HB1 wont be supported after the patch (or maybe it was cata, i cant remember) yet you say HB1 has it's place in our future? can we get a genuine answer if HB1 will carry on being supported or if it's going to be trashed?
 
Will those of us without lifetime subscriptions see some form of reimbursement? 7 days is a long time.
 
You guys deliver a superior product. I'm happy to wait a week for you to do your magic. Gives me some time to figure out the new system for my non bot account.
