Since Northrend isn't changing, will I still be able to use HB there? My character is currently 71.

This thread feels more like an excuse for extended downtime (ie: Blizzard's continual posts) - however, there is really NO better time to have it then BEFORE the expansion. It would be great if Gatherbuddy could still be used in Northrend to hold a few of us over while tools released to do the new profiles, etc.

How come it takes longer for HB to recuperate from a patch, than GB does?

umm i think i might need some re assuring. i have been reading the ban post, and people are posting on how their account was banned right after the patch. luckily i purchased HB right after the patch and currently HB is down so i havent had the chance to try it yet. so can someone PM me and tell me more about whats going on and will boss get everything fixed and working properly?

Simple, HB is much more advanced then GB is. GB still uses the old waypoint system, where HB uses automatically downloads of meshes in the world. With all of the new world changes, the old meshes are useless. And new ones has to be created.

If HB used the same waypoint system as GB, it wouldnt take as long, people just had to do new profiles.

Then again, im no programmer, im just speaking what i think is the issue.

out of interest since northrend hasnt been changed can we possibly get a lite version going so 70-80 still works? only 3.5 lv's to go and i dont wannna do it on my own .
