WOW Cataclysm 4.0.3a and Honorbuddy / Gatherbuddy downtimes

lol WTF.. yeah i get it, many changes, bot down. But how about noticing new buyers about this up front, eh? :) You fucking sell me a bot that's not working, bad idea. Somewhere between your front page and Bossland GmbH sale needs be a notice that the bot is currently down. imo. I mean.. just DON'T sell non-working software to people :)

It is YOUR responsibility as the consumer to research a product before you buy it. You obviously didn't spend a single minute of the forum reading about what was going on. Impulse buyers often have this problem like these.

You must be pretty new to botting as well, considering you think this soon after a patch there's going to be a fully functional bot.

Your money isn't going to waste, you just simply don't get the instant gratification that you get from Blizzard.
 
This problem could have ben solved before the patch even released if you took some initiative and actually went on beta to have updates ready. Well beta is closed for good now and people which actually paid for this program can't use it cause you didnt forsee a complete remap.
 
Note that im not trying to whine over a bot thats not working, cause after all I like to claim that I have a life outside wow "Unlike many others" But you all knew cata whould change wow, so why didn't you prepare anything? 4 days, and 4 nights have passed by since my baby rouge was out exploring azeroth with this mighty program. She misses it. So do I.

They can't update the bot with information pulled from the beta releases. Too many variables change between official releases and beta releases. Things are added and removed, areas are remapped, etc. If they based the bot on beta information then it's highly possible it could be detected or even cease to function completely. I'd rather them wait for the official release, then take the bot down to correctly code and map everything according to the information that has been officially released rather than have them do it according to beta and either be picked up immediately for botting or hainv to wait even that much longer for bugs to be fixed. I payed my share for a lifetime membership and I don't mind waiting for it to be released. I have plenty of "baby" characters that are waiting to be botted to 80, and some of them I'm even playing by hand just to have something to do while I wait.
 
Not trying to bash these guys because I know they are working hard on getting a release out, but Pirox had an updated version out before the patch was finished downloading on my PC on tuesday.

A release of HB or GB? I know GB was put out just shortly after the patch. It always is since it's a lot easier to update than HB is. Is Pirox a developer or admin?

Lol.. No. You go to the front page. You follow links to purchase product. You purchase product. If the chain from visit to purchase led to forums, I would have visited. Even a small "Please visit the forums to check the latest status about the bot" would have done it. Without any other information available, I would like to be able to trust that everything is ok. You really don't want to get the rumor on you that customers have to read any fine print and forums messages up front to check if the seller can be trusted?

Although a week of downtime is unfortunately long, also compared to competition, I wouldn't have given this feedback if just some information were available up front.

And no, I really am not new to botting :)

and btw toblakai its better for a user to spend his money on a bot that gives support and updates than to a broken bot with no support/updates(what i call thieves)

here is another question, not trying to sound greedy, but if its down for an extended amount of time while it gets rebuilt, will a credit be added to the subscription to compensate for the down time?

For all if these which haven't still found out. I assume its all of you, as hidden things are not being seen.

Buddy Lifetime - can not be added any extra time, as its stupid ...
Gatherbuddy - Gatherbuddy Subscriptions last after 31 days, each month, 12 months a year, even if its February (372 days)
Honorbuddy - Honorbuddy Subscriptions last 31 x 12 = 372 days

Not even blizzard does that... And excuse me but Cataclysm is nothing that appears once a month, its once each 2-3 years, and not even that as with BC and LK the old continent was not rebuild like that.

Competition: We will not release an HB which has no content 1-60 at all, just to be fast ....
Navigation: Is what needs to be done, then we are ready, i have not seen any navigation in any other products.

Gatherbuddy has been released long ago, compare this with your "competition".
 
just wondering if you were making any progress on the navigation isssue that we all been waiting for =D keep up the good work!

Something, that is not in everybody's brain!
GB will not be down for 2 weeks every month...
 
Its not that i don't wait too ... upgraded ~150 lvl 60-70 accounts with blizzard promotion

True, I don't personally know of any nav that's 100% ready for cata yet, although some are close. In any case I would still recommend giving people a head's up on the latest status somewhere in the purchase chain :)
 
Any update on HB? I know you said there is a lot to do just wanted any shred of information. Is there version being tested or have you gotten that far? Just an ETA would be nice :)
