WOD Is Coming What Do We Want Running

This is just a post out of curiosity. Im wondering what people would like to see up and running first and foremost after the new XPac hits. If you wanna quest your heart out to the next level cap or just PVP. Maybe gather new mats and make Cash Money. I personally would love to See roations up and running (Tyreal,Combat Bot,Lazy Raider) with Custom CRs. that's Right just a rotation bot up and running within a few days of release nothing fancy. Just Give me my rotation and I can level or quest from there? Opinions are welcome.
 
Woohah, if you would've read what he wrote at the second sentence you would've seen that he wrote "Im wondering what people would like to see up and running first and foremost after the new XPac hits." Meaning after the new expansion is out not before.

As stated a bazillion times there will not be a "HB light" for rotations (or other stuff) only.

Rotation bot's out, but CR's are usually some of the first things to be updated, so hopefully Tyrael/other rotation plugins will be up and working quickly.

Flying won't be in until 6.1 so gathering will be gimped .

I'd say questing.

I'm really considering moving my main character to a low pop server as leveling on the most populated pve server doesn't sound fun to me.

PS. Unfortunately, it doesn't matter what we want running. The devs will update what they think is best for their business, and they are absolutely terrible at working on what the community wants (worst company I've ever seen at taking the community's suggestions)

Yeah. I mean all I asked for was some decent development documentation. Or maybe some sort of readable comments in quest behaviors. Or anything to tell me what the hell I'm doing while writing plugins, profiles, and botbases without trial and error.

We want a simple rotation up and running first and foremost (Combat Bot/Raid Bot + Singular). Without this you won't have much else. Also with this you can quest by hand with minimal effort besides watching and clicking. Quests always take time because each individual quest needs to be developed and behaviors correctly made (Kickazz is your lifeline here).

Also, if you read the commented code inside of most quest behaviors, they say how to implement them.
 
Laugh all you want, Bambam. The buddy team is not known for their customer service, and go ahead and look at your track record on getting things updated in a timely manner that the community actually wants.

A prime example of that would be Dungeonbuddy. The community only wanted the last 3 dungeon scripts of SoO added in and all the other problems fixed. SoO came out in September, it took you until February to get those scripts in. That's six months. Also developers were asking for test accounts to help develop the bot they were supposed to be working on. That alone raises a lot of questions about the practices of the dev team. How are you guys testing out what you develop when you don't have an army of bot accounts to actually test with? Do you guys actually use your own bot?

Replying to posts with a lol is about what I would expect though.

Those that have been around and have experience with HB learn that there is much more to HB than updating a few files here and there when there is a new xpac.

Wanting a small portion of HB to run while there are bigger issues to deal with equates to getting a vasectomy while you're waiting on blood work to come back from the lab for a common cold.

Your argument is completely invalid in the case I brought up. Last time I checked, SoO came out long after the xpac was released. Usually companies tend to fix the issues that get brought up most often. Dungeonbuddy is one of, if not the most asked for, featured bot people want updated. If you feel six months is an appropriate length of time to update one of your most talked about botbases, you should join them.

you are free to make your own company,hire your own devs and make your own bot
then you can order your devs to update the whatever bot mode you want first

till that time and since you are not the owner of this company,let us decide whats the best way for our bots
 
Now here's the thing about the new exp ::

The SpellManager requires updating to the WoD passive bonuses (Which ofc is going to take time before releasing)

Then we have 3 new talents for all classes which needs to be tested and working in the SpellManager..

Which means, it is most likely going to be some time before you see CR's up to date with the latest theorycrafting / Simulationcraft. However I'm confident that the devs will give out some information regarding SpellManager when that time comes
 
So many people are giving the devs a hard time.

This isnt hard to understand.

THEY made the bot, they own it and they sell it.

if YOU arent happy with the service, then dont use it.

if you're going to use it anyway, dont give them such a hard time, the release will be out when it's ready.
 
Well this thread went from opinions to eye hurting internet terrorism. It was an opinion thread based upon would it be cool to have rotations working early in the new XPAC. But....... I now know HB releases full product only and there is no 'Lite" version. Unless something drastically changes in the Dev teams eyes and they decide to go with a "Lite" version due to unforeseen hiccups in the upcoming updates. I will sit back quietly and patiently for what is to come.

In his defense here even you in this example break your own rules by not posting on topic. Nobody said he was ordering you to do anything just making a statement of his opinion true or not. It in my eyes was criticism but it could be constructive criticism instead of you getting defense and just proving his point more lol. As for me ban me suspend me do whatever you want I don't use the bot anymore and posting on the forum quite frankly has no importance as I get most my scripts paid anyways which CANT be thoroughly talked about or discussed. And since we are already off topic you can limit developers of cr's from selling their paid scripts on this site but you cannot stop them from still using your bot and selling their crs elsewhere all you are doing is taking traffic away from your site and directing it to their own. BAD BUSINESS MOVE > *cough NOT BEST FOR BUSINESS.


P.S Expect the little uneducated BamBam to hit me with an infraction and or edit post like the typical fail mod he is.
