+++ Witch Doctor Stats required to run act 3 +++

to buzzalot... thats why i never use fear... its in the way of AOE if ennemys scatter in fear... witch dimminishes dmg and LOH overal..
and yess the procs came back as i said in my old post i can now freeze the lot of ehm even on diff 10.. with my good 'ol azure and some stun gloves.
if i want to i can run through anything but the dmg will go down substantialy.

to haxced... i have played lvl 10.. done infernal machine on 8.. but for the bot ( made a new key grind profile private) you should use 5 or sow.. couse 10 i can survive easy even.. but the kills are way to slow to even consider overal avarage gold/item farming even with the added mf.

so you guys think life steal (in weapon) is unnecessary (as long as your other stats are "good")

currently at:

all resis: 600ish
HP: 64k
DPS: 73k
atks per sec: 1.86
LOH: 1000
life steal:0 (used to have 3% but just found an amazing new weapon)

5% freeze belt (love this thing, but might not need it anymore cause I kill things fast... witching hr better here?)

bears
toads
dogs -burning
stinker

pierce, gruesome, spirit vessel (I use spirit vessel every so often)

running on mp1 and 0 deaths in act 3... ideally I'd like to get to MP3

going to buy a POX to complete my zuni set which should help a lot (all resis + mana regen for bears)

but.... from what ive heard 1.05 will be online ....
and then at diff lvl 10... my wd might come to its full right.. i guess we'll see heavent tested yet

Can you update us on your gear? I'm thinking of trying my WD for botting. It's already 60 and not being used. I've been running 2 barbs act 3 champ and a DH for gfing, but i'm gonna put the DH down and bring the WD back i think. I've got around 300 mil right now read to be spent on WD gear.

Unless of course you advise not to do it lol. Because I'm not sure how fast it is etc compared to barb. I'm willing to get Godly gear if it is going to be efficient.

WD is a little slower at clearing than a WW Barb with the same amount of gear. However, WD is really nice if you can afford the gear also depending on the spec you go with. Most people have switched to the grave injustice bear spec, but I have not. I have stayed with the Acid Spam build and have about 280m into my gear atm.

I am running mostly AS gear.

Helm - Mempo of Twilight or Andariel's Visage
Neck - Blackthourne's or good rare
Shoulders - Vile Ward or high int/vit rare
Chest - Tal Rasha's (int, vit, resist all)
Bracers - Lacuni Prowler (int, vit, resist all)
Gloves - High int, attack speed, vit, resist all rare or godly Tasker and Theo
Belt - Witching Hour or Good rare with High Int, Vit, Resist all, and chance to freeze
Legs - Good rares or Blackthourne's
Boots - Ice Climbers or Zunimassa's (working towards a pair of zuni to keep my 2pc)
Rings - Zunimassa's Pox with attack speed or LoH and im gonna guess either a good roll on Hellfire or a rare
Weapon - Well this is up to you either an amazing Skorn with LoH or 1h with LoH and Thing of the Deep offhand

Thanks for that. So only difference is bears instead of acid spam? I'm accustomed to the bears from 1.0.3 patch days (this was last time when I used WD a lot lol)
My barbs are running with skorns right now but not WW, just spam the hell outta rend.
 
With bears you might want to go more crit chance and crit damage instead of attack speed
 
It appears our thread was moved. Finally pushing 100k dps unbuffed full attack speed gear just missing blackthourne legs to be where I want.

yes it was moved... why the hell.. i just realy dont know.... the barb stats require is still there sow is the wiz..
anyway..
this might come as a suprise.. but im only at 80 k dmg buffed now. ^^
i can however play diff 9 or even 10 ubers solo.
with 3500 LOH i have the worlds highest wd LOH by far. ( source diabloprogress.com ) this build is made for one thing and one thing only.. to survive.
its slow at higher diffs. but it tanked an enraged siege beast uber yesterday in a full game mp 6. everyone got oneshotted. i kept on going with the life guage moving up and down drasticly ( seems the devellopers want us to kill siege first ^^ ).

mind you this isnt my run build only to go for keys at a high lvl and infernal machine... the acidclaud / frogs works like a charm.

I somewhat do the same thing.. I use my high loh attack speed gear on uber bosses and now run high cc / cd gear with a 1423 dps skorn for my runs now.
 
Hey guys,

I am totally new to demonbuddy as a Witch Doc, can you help me setup ? Which profiles, plugins etc?

Currently I am around 100k dps with 60k hp and 600ish all res with sacrifice / bear build with GI/GF

Anyone experience experiencing lag spikes in-game when your witch doctor attempts to dodge the azmodan's fireball? Can't do azmodan because of this.
