Who wrote an actual letter to Blizzard because of yesterday's topic?

Wait, if something I learned through my life is everything is opened to at least 2 interpretations, laws are opening to tons of diferente interpretations, and the guys is correct, most of us, if not all in this forum know sht about laws. What you cant say, is if we mess with a huge company, we will have our arses kiked... its not true, and yes, even freaking assassin in this world has the right to defend himself with laws, and many times, they get free with it because the stupid laws can be read in several ways...

Now the article he told us might be wrong, gave us some hope? yes, well we try... saying there is nothing we can do about it is wrong, people just dont know what to do, or what to do, no game, or program, is above a country law, or european laws. We just dont know better/have the money to get a good lawyer.

Telling me I should be quiet in my corner as a kid that missed behaved is BS i can defend myself, and till they prove me I did something wrong I m not obliged to agree with them.

You know what, blizzard, and maybe other online games simply "spit" on their costumers, I never saw a company that doesnt allow us to phone them, email them, whatever, is just impossible, even the physical adress phone's number doesnt work, to avoid this complains.... so many ppl needing a job and they have couple of retards answering our emails with scripts... someone should tell them thats also illegal in some countrys, people have the right to speak up with the people they made a contract with, contract broke cause one the parts did something about that? then prove it, or else you deserve to be in a court of law

In my country, every single firm, shopping, store, whatever has to have a "yellow book" where people complain if they want to, if they dont allow us to write on that book we can call the police and they pay huge fines... now where is that book from Blizzard in my country? nowhere, I cant even phone them to france... is like a huge company that says pay me euros but at the end im just allowing you to use my servers, yours 400 days played are worth sht in my books if one day you missbehave... im even waiting blizzard to come my home and arrest me... oh wait, they cant, because their employees are bots, or, im sorry, are scripts...

I have never had any trouble, calling, getting a call back, getting a live chat representative or getting a meaningful support request answered by blizzard. This company doesnt treat it's customers like shit at all, you did the wrong thing. deal with it.

I dont know if I did something wrong, do you? If i was banned cause of HB ok, fine, If i was banned because I made 11M gold in 1 year, then lets speak because i never ran HB except for raid CR... can you answer me with 100% certain?

Yes i'm 100% certain you were suspended for 6 months for using honorbuddy, just like the rest of us.
I too only ran Enyo with Raid CR's, i too was suspended for 6 months

as people have said, this was probably server side detection or reading the game client and comparing the differences of when HB was hooked into the client.

You can check mmo champ foruns, many their saying they werent runing HB or ever used it, but being that you understand what 100% is, why dont you educate Bossland telling why you have 100% certain? And why many didnt get the ban and they use HB? I have my gf account that used it, and im playing the account atm.

Either you are God or a blizzard employee you only can have 100% certain of one thing, and that thing is death..

again it's not about knowing everything it's simple logic.

it was posted that "blizzards security team was working hard checking the data"

which means it wasn't just a rash thing that happened, it was probably data that was gathered over a period of time, then double and tripple check to the end result being accounts being found in the wrong getting suspended for 6 months
they aren't going to ban innocent people, they aren't in the business of alienating legit customers, they also weren't in the business of losing non legit customers either so we ended up with a 6 month suspension over a permanent ban.

it's logic plain and simple, i'd have more faith in blizzard banned the people that were doing the wrong thing, than people on fourms claiming innocence.

I get your point, and its a valid point if somehow that found out the golden eggs chicken, but BossLand is saying they cant seem to see how, I trust them to be somewhat programing "genius" so, they arent sure, im not sure, you shouldnt be sure, but you claim to be 100% sure. All evidence apoints to you being correct, but we should be confronted with the proof... having afraid BL turns it around if they knew why is plain stupid, if its legal, and such a good way of that (like scaning their mem space) then what are they afraid of?

did you really ask that... if they have developed a sure fire way to detect the bot 100% of the time no problem and let's say for instance it is server based or within scanning the games exe file, completely legal and non intrusive... why would they say how, why would they give the bot makers an advantage to try and figure out a way around it... no, when you work out how to cripple your opponent you dont let them know that you know... you keep the secret.

so we cant compare a war, to the "war" between Blizz and BL? With innocent casualtys? Right, its all 1 and 0 I guess, all binary code is simple, either is, or inst, end of story. Cant be server based, it would take years for a computer to search for all that data in 100k accounts, hell blizzard even lies in the accounts they took down... because people can tell me some played 3 accounts with one HB key, still it seems their numbers are far from HB numbers, but hey, they dont lie, they are perfect, we r the ones that need a punishment a Bossland to blame... erm, wait, what? lol they won an injunction todo with diablo III nothing todo with botting or world of warcraft, it was to do with gold selling in diablo III, i dont see why you would default to that when it has nothing todo with this

and no it wouldnt take years to search through the data, i'm guessing you have no idea how databases work for a start... a simple query takes seconds.

Okay, this thread is getting out of hand. That's not what this thread was for. I asked a simple question. And no, I am not innocent. I know I botted 100% during the detection phase. It's my own fault for being banned. But yes, I did write the letter. I don't know what good or bad it wil bring. But yes, as many here. I am quite desperate or actually simply worried to get my account back. It was my main account. I used the bot not to grind for mats or gold. But simply to level toons and do garrison stuff.

If I thought it would make any difference then I would write a letter. As it is I only got a suspension for 6 months so don't want to draw any extra attention to my account. Writing a letter takes time I can't be fucked with so I am playing on private servers with the same routine I used in live wow

you're acting like you were perma banned... it's a 6 month suspension... buy a new account to play on until November or play something else.. you're not getting it un-banned and you haven't lost your account either, there is nothing to be desperate about, you're getting the account back, chill out a little

I wont be writing a letter, yet might get investigated. But what i cant understand is, i botted on 6 accounts, 5 accounts were bots made only and the first was my main. But within my main i had 5 WOWs(yes 10 WOWs, im an addict). And everything got banned except for WOW5. IE Accounts 2,3,4,5,6 banned, and on my main '1' they banned the first four wows. strange.

totally agree on this. I have send a letter aswell. Sent my copy of ID card already with a ticket before a while ago
