I lost my last Level 90 gatherer account today. I lost the others a few weeks ago (they were botting MoP and Northrend), while this one stayed in Outlands. I decided to bring it over to MoP (I needed some flasks) and see how long I could run it until it would get banned. It lasted about 17 hours worth of farming.
Anyway, I have several more Battlechests ready to go when this is ready, although I doubt I will buy any expansions this time around, gold is simply too good from BC/WotLK raw ore.
Cheers,
XtO
You were running for 17 continuous hours?
Farmer Joe blacklists objects if I can't harvest them in 25 seconds (user definable time). I don't see how this is different from "Blacklister".
Farmer Joe will not attempt to harvest (or even land by) a node that another player with within 10 yards of. The node is blacklisted for 10 seconds, if they player moves away from that node then FJ will attempt to harvest it.
... The permanent one with an option to "clear blacklist"

I think it means you put in the item(s) you are after, and FJ is selecting the zone/node map to get those items for you. Potentially we don't need to know where to go. FJ will tell you / suggest?
Can you describe the function of these plugins?
NPH is not record in the lifetime stats, its only recorded on the session stats. Also don't expect the NPH to be as high with Farmer Joe as it is with GB2. Because GB2 uses a path you tell it where to go and obviously you follow the most populated node path.

In its current state you have the ability to select the the zones that Farmer Joe will roam around. You can select a single zone, this is the default behavior if you hit the HB start button without doing anything else, or you can select as many zones as is available in your current continent. For example, lets say I want a large assortment of Northrend herbs and ore. If I were to only use a single zone, lets say Borean Tundra, I'd only get a small subset of the available herbs/ore. But, if I choose Borean Tundra, Zul'Drak, Dragonblight, Grizzly Jills and Howling Fjord not only would I get a large assortment of herbs/ore but the chances of being caught spending a lot of time in one zone is reduced to nothing.
Blacklister: Simply avoids Nodes that have aggressive Mobs near the Node. You can simply set a value like 25 Yards and the amount of Mobs that are allowed to be near the Node. So when i set it to 0 Mobs and 25 Yards my Character does not fly to any node with more than 0 Mobs in a 25 Yard area around the Node.
AvoidPlayers: The same as Blacklister, just with Players instead of Mobs. I set a value of 50 Yards so i dont loot any node when there is a Player in a 50 Yards Radius. So i dont have to worry about Reports. (The only reports that i get atm are "Stuck" reports. My Bots often stuck at random points. Else GB2 is safe atm with AvoidPlayers and RandomBuddy.)
Both of these features are already present in Farmer Joe.

"Mobs Near by Node" You can choose to harvest it or ignore it if a mob is within X yards of the node. You define the distance from the node.
"Blacklist (Seconds)" If Farmer Joe can't harvest a node after X seconds it will blacklist it.
Other blacklisting includes adding a blacklist location + a radius. Any node within X distance from this location will not be harvested.
I also have Blacklist Polly on the future feature list. You define an area by as many waypoints as you want and Farmer Joe will not harvest anything inside this polly.
EDIT: The Avoid Players feature is built-in. If a playing is within 10 yards of a node it will temporarily blacklist the node for 10 seconds, after that time it checks the node again. If the player has moved away from the node it will harvest it.
Hey fpsware, coming back to botting after a break where i lost all my accounts. Spent a while reading through all the comments, excited to see what this has turned into so far.
There is one thing i've always wanted in a farming bot that GB2 hasn't given me, i found a way to do it with professionbuddy, but it's sloppy and could be better. Though it would add much more work to your plate, would you consider having an option for the bot to fish pools on the way to mining and herb nodes?
While I think its an interesting idea, one that I'm surprised no one else has mentioned, it will probably never be implemented.
