whats more worth it, Gold Farming (300kgph) or Act 1 champion hunting (0 deaths)

i'm focusing on gold per hour right now, for a few reasons. 1/ You don't need expensive gear (demon hunter) with gold skin and the main wep being the most expensive (i think around 2 million total cost) 2/ I've read botters eventually get banned, so if i lose a barb with a ton of gold invested into him i'd lost more then a set of cd keys 4/ Its a steady stream 5/ This being my most liked point, gold isn't hard to sell and i don't have to mess around with an auction house. My reasoning is that i want to be able to run these bots with little input from me as possible, so i can almost forget about them. I have team viewer installed on my iphone and can check on them daily.
Of course i can think of cons, which would be gold is going down daily, if a new patch hits i'll always be making the same amount of gold as before.
What do you guys think? Alot of you are probably way more experienced than me and prob can find faults in this. Anyways i like this thread and i'd like to hear someones opinions

Its possible yes, and I going to assume your a 1h+shield barb which are usually very slow. your dph is fine but at 40min a run... C'mon Man!

If your running custom profiles (edited) its better to state that to not throw people off. Inaccurate information is frowned upon.

2 handed with 1487 dps Gradfather. Has ton of %hp and all main stats from 150-170 and a sock.
Basicky gave me 15k dmg 8k hp and 1.2 def boost. I got that baby as a snipe from the Ah for 2-3 mils. They go for 10mil normally.
That why i do fast runs i guees.

But your right i did start with a storm shield and a 1 hander with steal, shit was so slow. I never died unless bot bugs and does something stupid. I got kind of lucky with the 2hander. If you lurk the ah you can find quite the stuff.

Can people just post their items instead of "i did this with this amount of gold." I dont' think anyone cares who is "the best at doing this gear with the least amount of gold" ordeal. I think it's rather much more helpful if you post what you have , and say with this kind of gear, and this kind of build, the bot does this. That's probably more helpful than any of this crap.

280k an hour is equivalent to to about 17 cents an hour? ballers. why do ppl still farm gold?

1 bot = $4.08 / day
10 bots = $40.80 / day
25 bots = $102.00 / day
50 bots = $204.00 / day
100 bots = $408.00 / day

Every ban wave you can at minimum double the figures above.

These prices are based your 280k/hour and 17 cent price. Many people can get in the 400-500k+/hour range per bot.

U can get some gold farming champs plus the paragons lvl.Now with the gyles the wizard build is really nice! (buy a windforce with a nice proc for uor hire).Is act 1, but u still got that low chance of g2g roll =)

Add a few good drops here and there and it's no contest. I never had more than 5mil in my account at any given time back when I botted NM Arreat Core with my Wiz or Act1 champions with my barb. But after investing what I did earn into better gear for the barb I've easily made 500+mil farming act3 in the past few weeks. That's botting no more than 4-5 hours a day on average.

So im just gonna throw it out here in a poll basicly.

I got semi good gf gear on my wiz and can pop 310-320k gph over a 10 hour period.

I got quite good act 1 farming gear ( but low MF, 130 mf with 5 stacks) and i could propably farm act 1 endlessly atm, not yet strong for act 3 though.

what would YOU do to get maximum profit?

I farm act 3 with 300% base MF (550% after buffs + mp) and get ~400k gph + my mf finds. 1 full run @ 0 deaths = 1 hour (acronicx long-ass profile)
That is on mp7, of course.
