Are you able to say what tag(s) that will be used so i can add them to my profiles and have them all ready for release?

What I wanna see is random path generation for everything. We just pick the start point and end point.

I don't get what the picture is showing with all that green stuff but i think it's good news

Even more!

uh you need to do this for every map?

I think these are pictures from their tests.
Random dungeons as their name states are random - thus you can't map them but need an automatic way to walk through them.

tbh hope it gets alot better then those test images lol if my bot is walking around a dungeon like that i think id want to pull my hair out watching it!

i know i know its only test images, great work non the less!

First thing we need to do is make sure that it actually explores the dungeon properly. We may do a test release so people can test out the basic functionality. Once we know that it works, we can optimize it to not take "derp" paths around dungeons. But again, for now, we want the basic functionality working so we can get some real profiles and whatnot out.

The weird paths are due to the TSP algorithm I wrote being incredibly simple. (I wrote it in ~10min to make sure we can actually do things properly) I'll eventually upgrade the algorithm to use better paths. :)

is it possible to scan the map for the exit so the toon can go straight to the end? or is it only possible with a hack?

The idea for this is that it'll also function as a "reveal end of map" type system. So you simply either stop using the explorer once a path to the exit is navigable, or just keep on clearing the dungeon, then go exit. The problem is, with random dungeons, we only get "parts" of the dungeon, so we have to explore to cause the client to load the new areas, so we get the rest of the nav data.

awesome thanks for the quick reply :) great to know you guys are on top of it!

Can't wait really, since quick game sessions are becoming risky, we really need to be able to do 5-10 minute runs when we bot for gold. Good job DB team!

Thanks for the info! It's good to see the progress.
