What steps are being taken to prevent the next banwave?

32 bit 64 bit 128 bit doesnt matter Soapbox had 64 bit users banned if I am not mistaken

what do you mean? I've read this before. Did a big developer quite and hand over some codes to blizz while i was away?

I agree 100% on this. They got comfortable for a long time really and now just milking the cashcow. They also basically rob devs on buddystore with obscene fees, the same people who actually make their product useful, so the greed is real on all sides. With that said, botting is a risk you take, and as such, people should be prepared to take the consequences.

yeah you are right. Soapbox a 64 bit bot got banned as well..

it sure seems like HB is detected atm. Here is my short storry:

I am in another country right now, so I created a Free WoW trial account to test the MS out, to see if I could play on my main. I had 400-1000k MS, so I did not get my real account up and running. But I also tested HB with the trial account, I used Combat Routine for about 1 hour and 1-2 hours of questing/leveling. So a total of 2 to around max 4 hours of playing around in Gold Shire for one day. It got hit. Banned 181 days.

Seems very unlucky that my trial got hit in 2-4h of HB, or HB is still detected. Remember that BossLand did not know what happened last ban wave, and did not fix any detection methods. Blizz could have a way to detect HB with a high % of being spot on.

I wonder if anyone else caught this lmao, tripwire works great, to DC the bot after half the userbase has been banned. Not that im cryiing because you bott you know whats coming not if but when. Although they need to stop with the tripwire will protect us because as of now the only thing it protects is there wallets. Haveing that "tripwire may be the tipping point for those on the wire for a bot. Uts essentually useless, except to dc the bott aafter a ban has been initated. Im not knocking the creaters or anyone associated with the bot. I t is still the best bott around bar nun. just give it to us straight. and we now know AHB is detectable, and tripwire will not go off when being detected. I will say again for the price and only 2 bans in how many years, its a fantastic, and active bot. best by far out on the market. so a big thanks for the imte spent on it.
 
I don't know what detection you guys are talking about. I have been botting most of the day and night for the last 2 weeks now. I also went offline when tripwire went off. My account is fine. If there is detection. Then there is a flaw in the system, Idk.
 
I give up with Honorbuddy. I'm officially hanging up my botting boots. Blizzard clearly have the upper hand. Using honorbuddy is no longer a case of "if" you get banned but a case of "when".

Blizzard announced on BlizzCon a huge Warden-Update that will released in a little pre patch ? What do you guys think ? The roll out only one ban wave and than they will tollerate botters ? lololol ? i knewed my risk, i lost 5 accounts tonight. Spit in Hands and go on or do other stuff.. When HB goes back live i will press start again, in knowing of my risk.

Bans are still going on.
my friend got banned 20 minutes ago, and he havent botted for 2 weeks.
we are all gonna get hit, even you.
 
Yeah i have some accounts banned some not, in fact the accounts i botted heavily on are still online, but i know they will be banned shortly. It is most definitely detection.

They have explained 99999999999999999999 times maybe more, why they don't support x64 - reversing x86 took them a good +- 10 years of collective effort, reversing x64 wont be done overnight (to the same degree of quality).
They give coders the freedom to write custom routines and profiles etc... this is a GOOD thing - us coders actually like to have control over the bot - but Honorbuddy still control what we can access "safely - as safe as bots are".

Maybe try write your own bot - from scratch (without honorbuddy as the base) - (a simple fish bot is a good start) then tell me how crap they are.

Judge once you have put yourself in someone else's shoes, NOT before.
 
I don't think there will be such a thing as "next banwave", I honestly think HB won't recover from this banwave. It appears to be twice as massive as the last banwave in May. Maybe if they re-code the whole thing from scratch, but I don't think they will do that.
 
there is nothing to be done. Honestly bosslands has been pretty upfront about this, in May they clearly said they have NO CLUE how they are getting detected. One thing for sure, their tripwire and anti-warden is doing jackshit, cause blizzard hasn't used Warden to ban the major bots for years now, maybe 7+ years.

DONT use this fucking thing on your mythic-raiding toon on a 10 year old account. no brainer.

You can use it TO MAKE GOLD on throwaway accounts. It's actually a lot better now than it used to be in MOP - back then you'd get banned for GB2 in 2 weeks guaranteed, now you can bot 24/7 and apparently only get suspended every 7 months.

I know they had a very good (yet new) technology they used for HOTS bot which was pretty passive - but blizzard stole that from Apoc, so they could apply that to WoW since it would be undetectable being passive - well if it was detected then blizzard would be sued by the world for scanning people pc's for running EXE's out-side of wow.

Botting in wow, is like playing diablo 3 hard core - its the same thrill, and you dont get that thrill when you dont risk it all, and who needs gold farmers - i suck at making gold yet always have enough (10-20k) to get by.
 
Best way to win this... Don't buy new wow accounts. let the game keep dying off. less subs, less money, for buzzards i mean blizzard. :)

Then the ban wave hit-this account was hit too..

HB is over unless they rebuild a new program..

I hope you did this and started a whole new account and not linked it to one that was hit by this wave because if u didn't then you're statement is pointless it seems to me that most ppl that have multi ban accountsthem accounts have been linked together as I know some mates that have separate accounts not link have had 1 or 2 hit but the others have been left alone for now I my self had 2 accounts linked get a 6 month ban and 1 not linked still ok
