What class CC(s) need an update the most?

I'm in the process updating CCs, so now is the time (yet again) to speak up and tell me what works and what does not work, what features you need atc..

I will only accept well formed thought out sentences, if you can't be bothered putting a few minutes effort into your reply I can't be bothered reading it.


What CC is most needed.

I have a hunter, dk, warlock, priest, druid, and a pally. I have the others as well just not high level. All of mine seem to work ok except my warlock. The CC's I see/use don't really support destro or they stop at 80. I could be wrong though. I rarely get on my pally so I'm not too sure about the CC's for him.

How is this going to help developers resolve issue in their CCs?

Personally I'd like to see more developers just work together on Ensemble or Singular, instead of having so many CC's to have to chose from, it would be enjoyable if HonorBuddy was more "out of the box" ready to go.

Totally agree with eXtOphius. Personally I'd like to see more Rogue PVP CC's, or better yet one that actually works. Using yours now and it's cool and all, amazing for questing/grinding etc but for PVP it's not optimal, would looooooove to see you get down and dirty with a nice subtlety pvp cc, preferebly bundled with Singular.

I would like to see your rogue CC worked on it is defintley a good start but i would like it to support Subtley in pvp or even mutilate in pvp which ever is easier.

The more CCs the more competition, the more competition the better it is for the customer. Competition is proven to help products develop and grow.

My personal opinion towards CC development does not match that of other CCs developers, therefore, it is unlikely for me to collaborate on a product with another CC developer. My opinion mirrors that of others within this community.

I believe people only believe in the "more competition, better products" thing because of capitalism. One reason being that is is illegal to have a monopoly in the real world, and two, the gains are better if you go it alone.

I understand none of the major CC developers want to work together on something, but there seems to be numerous flaws with every CC out there. Versions aren't working, certain specs are unsupported, developers getting "bored" or choosing to abandon their projects, etc.

I for one don't really care what anyone does or does not do as CC development goes, as I will probably just end up using whatever is packaged with HonorBuddy anyway. I just figured I'd give my "In a Perfect World" thoughts.

Would like to see a Ret Paly .cc developed that mimics the rotation and current thinking at Elitist Jerks, they have had 3 months to digest Cata now and have nailed it. While yours and Mords .cc are perfectly acceptable for general questing/grinding am I am often questioned of my ability when I am not doing the dps I should when running heroics in a lazy manner :0 There are a few threads with optimal dpsing rotations in them here.

Something I think people forget is that when you purchase Honorbuddy you are only purchasing the default CCs that come with the product. You are not purchasing the CCs developed by individuals in the community.

CC developers are not paid for the work. They do it for fun or because they feel their contributions can fill a perceived gap in the default CC or existing user developed CCs.

If a developer wants to move on and discontinue their work there is nothing stopping them from doing so, they have absolutely no obligation to continue their project. If someone else wants to pick up and continue development of any given CC project (with the permission of the original author) they are more than welcome to do so.

Almost all of my CCs are developed with PVE grinding/questing in mind. They are written with the express purpose of getting a character from level 1 to level 85.

When people want CCs to do very specific tasks such as follow a set rotation in a raid/heroic instance there are going to be discrepancies between design purpose and customer expectation.

If people think back a year ago to what CCs were doing and what CCs are now capable of doing you will see that they are poles apart. Something I have noticed is the more features you give people them the more features they expect you to give them; you give them one wheel and they want to wheels, you give them to wheels and they want for wheels.

An update of rogue is SERIOUSLY needed! For some reason your Fpsware Rogue doesnt work atm, and the Default Rogue is nothing less than crap.

It supporting PvP would be icing on the cake!

Warlock because thats the only class right now that dosent have a nearly fully functional nearly bugless CC and warlocks are very powerful classes. Could definately use a dusting

Just a note to fpsware, I know CC devs do not get paid for what they do, but people that use their CC's and have a little spare change are likely to donate here and there, and thats just saying thanks, i know ive donated to quite a few CC devs and at least 9 people in my guild have donated to CC devs for their constant hard work. I do understand that customer demand sometimes frusterates CC devs but thats what the donate button is for, 5$ at least for a pack of smokes to get through another few hours of coding and written moocher complaints

I voted Paladin but only because ensamble will not pvp attack in holy and Singular does not support holy.

a good holy paladin pvp healbot...I love shamwow as a healer in BG and wish there was an equivalent for paladin

Too all you whining for a new pala CC, I leveled 3 toons at once via RAF and dungeoning. 2 DPS (sometimes I manually tanked) and 1 healbot. Went incredibly nice.
