[PAID] [Warlock] Demonic - An Advanced Honorbuddy Warlock Routine [PvE/PvP]

nother thing it seems like hes casting immolate twice in a row then goes on regular rotation
 
Millz, whatever your latest change for the donor version fixed a bunch of stuff for me. It's extremely smooth now on BGBuddy and even slicker when I take control for RBG's and Arena. One thing I've noticed though it that it won't rebuff itself if my lock dies. Specifically "Dark Intent" and "Grimoire of Sacrifice". Anyway to check for these two and make sure it buffs them appropriately? Loving the donor version BTW. Keep up the good work. I'm one of those rare Affliction players and was having a hard time finding a CC to PVP with!

In regards to fear does it cycle with the current DR? (PVP of course) I know you had wanted to figure it out but haven't been able to test it.

Also as mentioned on page 18, single target it is double casting immolate. I actually had it do it on the stone guardian when it was low health it casted immolate a bunch in a row

Would love to use this one as it 'looked' like it was the best at first glance, but it literally just stands there. No log to give you, it says the same thing a regular bot would starting up. Then just stands there till it afks.

There may be no log but a little more information may of course help. What bot base are you using, what are you attempting to do? You know like the common sense stuff?

I don't know what kind of problem you're having, but I got this back when it was still revision 11 (it's on 20 now) and it worked great. I can use Demonic, PureRotation, and Singular without issues. So, if it's not working for you, then you're doing something wrong, have sometime installed incorrectly, or have the routine and/or bot setup wrong. I'd love to be able to help you out, but without logs there really isn't much that can be done that isn't guess work.

The problem with this is how Honorbuddy handles the call to "PreCombatBuffing" - it's not consistent enough. A way to 'force' it is by targeting someone, i.e. when you die, target yourself until it's finished buffing, then you're good to go.

Still not getting consistent dot lines on opponents

I made a start on this yesterday, it's a bit more difficult than you'd imagine. Will try and get this sorted today too.

You're doing it wrong. As the others have said, if you don't provide enough information and no log file, then nobody can help you.

Mills regarding the log list i showed it was physcially casting it that many times and i sat there and watched it. Next time/if it happens again I will get an actual log

I've made a change this morning to fix double casting of DoTs (Immolate being one of them). Update from SVN first.
 
Tried demo and afli extensively in arena and its just not in a good place right now, Affliction in particular is just not right. I can go into a 2s game and soulburn soulswap both players and im already in a much better place than where the CR is. Also the idea of having to stand still when a UA needs to be refreshed is just counter productive, no affliction lock in pvp wants to have to stand still.

I haven't had a chance to test in arenas or bgs. If the kjc nerf in 5.4 goes live then locks will have to stand still to cast again unless using fillers. As they used to prior to mop. I would say generally though it's good practice to stop and cast so you don't get the movement speed debuff.

One more question, does the routine auto shadowburn lower health targets or do you need to manually target them for the profile to recognize health %?

I was about to say the same thing about the KJC nerf. So, the way I see it is they are going to pretty much remove destroy from pvp with it. Too much standing still will have to be done for it to be feasible.

I've thought of a better idea for Soul Swap during my drive home which I'll take a look at later. UA when moving can be fixed, but you misinterpited what I meant. You would only need to be standing still for less than 30ms for it to cast UA. Once it started you can move again - realistically you wouldn't notice the difference, but it's definately something I can change.

It's worth pointing out that this routine has been public for just 6 days, in which time I've posted 10 updates. Not everything is going to be perfect straight away, but even now it's come a long way since it started.

So long as you keep anything targeted, the routine will search for shadowburn targets itself, you dont need to target them manually.
 
Thanks millz. Of course it's worth also mentioning night and day you have been patching flawlessly. If you have public I would recommend taking the next step forward.

Unrelated I'll have to look into tyrael bc it is reporting 30 ticks per sec even though I have it set down to 15
