[PAID] [Warlock] Demonic - An Advanced Honorbuddy Warlock Routine [PvE/PvP]

My DoT system isn't taking as long as I'd expected. I've pretty much wrote AffDots into the routine.. It will do...

If target doesnt have aura -> cast
If target has aura and my stats are better now -> refresh as soon as I get full pandemic benefit (or maybe allow clipping of 1 or 2 seconds?)
If target has aura and my stats are worse now -> don't refresh until < 3 seconds remaining on the DoT

Idea is if we apply a buff like Doom at 100% crit, we won't overwrite it until <3s left (unless we have another +100% crit buff).

Will take another day or 2 before it's ready if it all goes to plan. Major DPS increase for affliction if I can pull it off.
 
Hi Millz,

Latest version stops casting after summoning Infernal (tries to summon another Infernal in an endless loop). Had Dungeon settings + Tyrael, starts at [14:06:37.082 N].

Seems to be a problem around [14:05:38.290 N] also I think?

Damn. Okay - disable it via settings for now and I'll get it pushed soon. Can't update it now due to the new dot system being half developed.

Oh - and to add to this, it also allows proper support for trinkets like "Wushoolay's Final Choice" or "Unerring Vision of Lei Shen".

Btw I really love the combat routine but I wanted to know how good is the logic in the paid version when crowd controlling?

Also have an idea. How about a "Use Trinket: On Burst" when other buffs/auras are active? Because right now you only have on Low Health and On Cooldown.

Talking about pvp rotation of course. :P

1. Does the CR Soulburn Soulswap as affliction in PvP?
2. When bursting does it use haunt to increase the DoT damage?
3. Would you like to use my skill-capped account to get some tips that may benefit this CR? (inbox me if hes Millz)

1) It does, however I have a plan to make it better.

2) It uses haunt when;
- don't already have haunt on target (or it's about to expire) AND either of the following conditions
--- We have 3 or more shards
--- We have 1 or more shards and dark soul still has > 35s left on CD (i.e. we have 35s to recharge shards before the next dark soul proc)
--- We have 2 or more shards and dark soul is active
--- We have 1 or more shards, and the target is below 20% hp (i.e. to quickly nuke)

It's the PvE optimal setup, but it works pretty good for managing shards (i.e. to keep some for Soulburn + Soul Swap).

3) I have access to skill-capped already, however I've got plenty of things left to code before I start looking for more jobs! Thanks for offering though.

Yeah what i noticed is that sometimes the off target isnt fully dot lined which should never be the case with the bot working its magic ;)

When im fearing the main target the pet takes quite a long time to go back on target but its a minor thing ive picked up on, also curse of the elements isnt always up so abit of dps loss there but again im sure thats easy fixes (just pointing out what im seeing, no criticism as i think its working great)

Ive been playing a few with it and its working pretty well, i do my own fears and blanket silences but the rest seems very solid.
 
I'm noticing it does not dismount in BG's it will just sit there and let you get smoked. It also shuffles around, it will stutter step towards a target. I'm using this with BGBuddy. I also noticed the same problem with the Infernal/Doomguard it doesn't realize it's on cooldown after the first cast and it will try and cast it over and over again. I disabled it and that seems to help. The way it is currently you can't use this with BG's unless you control the movement and initiate combat.

Many thanks for fixing Grimoire of Service on boss etc. Working very nice. This got me thinking of something.....

If we use The Felguard's AOE ability then pop Grimoire + Felguard again we could use the AOE twice for extra AOE damage.

Really starting to enjoy demon more now as I have always played destro.

Thanks for the fix Millz. Let me know once you code the other Grimoire pets in.

Yep the DoT behavior you're mentioning is the bit I want (need) to improve. I already know how I'm going to implement it, just another thing on the list of tasks to get around to :)

BGBuddy should be handling the dismount, but I'm sure I can add some extra logic in there to try and improve it.

Doomguard is fine, I've corrected Infernal in my local copy, but can't push to SVN at the moment due to the code being updated for the new DoT system. Enable Doomguard and disable Infernal and you should be good.

The Felguard's AoE is handled via Command Demon. I don't think you can control the second demon - it just follows the first.

Getting an error while questing, bot casts the first spell on a mob then just stands until the next mob, log attached.

This looks more like an Honorbuddy error than one with the routine (internal stuff that's failing). Couple of things to try...

1) Close WoW and Honorbuddy, start them back up ensuring they're running as an Administrator.
2) Switch from DX9 to DX11 (or from 11 to 9 depending on what you're already using).
3) Fresh install of Honorbuddy + Demonic
 
This makes me very, very excited! The damage increase is insane!
