[PAID] [Warlock] Demonic - An Advanced Honorbuddy Warlock Routine [PvE/PvP]

Ok so there seems to be an issue on demo. I was testing it on the raiding training dummy and im ilvl 508 and its pulling 114k. The rotation though seems to be off. It keeps casting corruption about 3-4 times back to back and fel flame over and over. Heres a log!

It's AoEing by the looks of it. Fel Flame in the log is actually Void Ray (it's how the spell override works).

Yeah. It's not the listed on the usual websites (icy veins/simcraft/noxxic), but in practice it produces much higher dps. The result is that you're in metamorphosis form much longer than you would be using the other methods.
 
Well when it was doing that and with the aoe setting changed to 5 it was only doing 76k dps on the raiding target dummy. Seems kind of low to me but I will test it out tonight in the raid and see what it produces.

You got the UVLS trinket? Demonology sort of relies on that trinket to do good dps. Without it I'd go for a different spec.
 
Also, setting it to aoe will lower the dps (or so i've found). Even if it's set to something like 6+ like I do. Simply use the toggle on and off, but have the amount set to what you want etc. Shift-F1 is the key toggle i use.
 
No I don't have the uvls trinket. That trinket isn't even best in slot from what I read

The reason why the UVLS-trinket is so good for Demonology is that you gain a imp each time Doom crits, so therefore you double-doom every target when the trinket procced and you get mad amounts of imps which = a lot of damage.
 
OK we doing lei-shen 25m tonight so I'll see if I can't get it.

Even if its the lfr version, same proc just less intellect, dramatic increase in dps. I can state though that ive seen demo locks push higher numbers burst and sustained and lower ilvls but typically I am on top. That could just be rng and proc base. Last raid I did I was doing 130k dps sustained.

I think my Demon Warlock is underperforming, ilvl 502.

20 million dps test resulted in : 66k dps

Things ive changed under class config : Demonic Fury values 850/600

I used Grimoire of Sacrifice, as i read on Icy Veins, its a dps boost if you got UVLS.

Tyrael bot, with framelock 45.

Log attached aswell.

You need to ditch the PvP gear. That's whats boosting your ilvl but actually holding you back.

I personally use Supremacy, not Sacrifice. Others said having the fury set at 650/400ish is better too.
 
Those 3 pvp items wont make that big a difference. 66k dps DESPITE those 3 items (which doesnt mean that much) is VERY low at ilvl 501.

Have you even looked at my log, settings or got any actual advice i can use for something?

I even tried changing spec to Afflic - that resulted in lower dps. Around 60k mark.
 
Also fragnot you're under hitcap and got a lot of crit you should reforge out of.

Demonology warlocks stat-priorities look like this - Hit > Mastery >= Haste >= Crit

You should definately ditch the PVP-gear and replace it with proper PVE-gear as well, and I think you'd benefit more from GoSer or GoSup in lower ilvls than GoSac.

You have 5 out of 14 pieces of PvP gear. That plus being under the hit cap as amputations states is the reason why you're doing lower than you'd want damage. PM me your actual armory link and i'll run simulation craft against it to see what it says.

Aren't you meant to have something like 8.6k haste as Demonology too for it to be performing optimal?
