I'm pretty confused with this one then. What's it like against units other than target dummies? Can you post a log from that? Even just tag 2 units in tannan and let it kill the pair will do.

I have found today what i consider to be a huge problem with the CR while moving. Ill attach the whole log file so you can see that i reproduce it every time. This is also with a complety new installation ov HB.
The reason that i have noticed this is because my dmg is so incredible low when im focused and have to move alot in arena.
Im at the training dummies in Stormsheild. and this is how the CR dots up the 5 targets while i move. ill comment after each line

This is reproduced every time, always 10 casts of agaony on the 5 targets and then the 5 casts of corruption. it seems that were having some troubles recognizing the dots.
Im not 100% sure if it runs exactly the same in PVP and against different names, But it would explain the low damage when moving around.

There's a setting on the affliction tab to reduce how many targets to DoT. Default is 5, i'd reduce to 3 for PvP.
When moving, the DoT minimum refresh time increases significantly for Agony and Corruption, as there's very limited spells that can be cast for affliction when moving. For instance, corruption will refresh when DoT time remaining is < 5.4s when standing still, but <15s when moving.

Destro isn't far behind Demo, and far easier to play. I'd stick with that personally.
i dont think that would be ideal since the routine would have to still search/detect the units and you couldnt start AoE already before units pop up. You would also need to constantly change the value from fight to fight which doesnt seem like a clean solution IMO
Yeah thats fair enough. The AoE detection alone using unit value count should be sufficient, if the number of units are there then the AoE will trigger, if there aren't enough units the AoE stops.
