[PAID] [Warlock] Demonic - An Advanced Honorbuddy Warlock Routine [PvE/PvP]

Unfortunately there are no perfect arena (or anywhere for that matter) settings - especially where PvP is concerned. You need to setup the routine to handle abilities how YOU would want it to, and so that you know what to expect from the routine. The more you use the GUI the quicker you get to know where things are and what to tweak. Most settings are down to personal preference. Spending the time yourself to setup the routine is the best way to get maximum performance out of the routine.

- Fixed 'preventing casting on: me - blacklisted' error.
- [All] Dark Soul's 2nd charge (where applicable) is now forcefully used when TTD < 40 (change from target HP < 10%).
- [Affliction] Dark Soul's usage has been improved.
- [Affliction] SB: Haunt will now refresh when < 10s instead of <5s.
- [Affliction] Changes to Haunt's conditions.
- [Affliction] Added setting to allow disabling AoE (i.e. multidotting) when Dark Soul active.
- [Destruction] Fixed double casting Chaos Bolt when F&B active.
- Removed some spam logging when other players in our party change spec/talents.
- Changed combat log event handling to new method.
- Added Garrison ability usage.
- Change to improve potion usage.

because your guild isn't fixing the fight in a way that you can cheese the DPS and thus score high (for example, going to visions and raid uses BL as soon as you get out with your ring and everything and then killing boss very fast with you ending up on 200k dps, or on Socrethar imprisoning ghosts over and over then letting ONLY you AoE 20+ of them and killing the boss right after you finish AoE with full buffs etc...etc...etc...)

This is a great setup but there is a few things can need an improvment for arena in my opinion.

Damage is great, but it can be better against turteling healers. I never see the routine use Soulswap, Not the SB soulswap but just the regular one. Sometime trying to dot a healer up behind a pillar can take a very long time, and sometimes its not possible to get a UA or haunt up att all making them jsut dispell it instantly. Some kind of logic when to use Soulswap would be nice.

Pet - This is in my opinion the biggest problem at the moment. It very rarely interrupts (see attached log) 1 time in 3 games it seems like. There are a couple reasons for this i guess. As it seems Pet only interrupts its target, if it dosent have a target it dosent do anything. To keep the pet on for example a priest fading can be tough, every 10 secs the pet is back at me. Cant you make it so you can toggle on/off a "attack focus/target" macro, so that like 1 in 5 secs it sends the pet to your focus or target depending on your settings.

Fear - Another thing that works right now but can be alittle better is the fear logic. Make it priority to fear a healer if dps is under a certain health. right now i can have a dps at 50% health, and healer at full health, and it starts to fear my target (the dps).

hi first i must say very nice work with this routine but i have a question... i'm leveling a lock lvl 40 and in dungeon it cash chaos bolt no stop i've put the minimum for 4 ember but still casting it with 1 ember so i lost alot dps because i need move the character and after it cash incinerate i can understand its not done for low level but i dont understand why i've choice ember need for cast it if its just casting it anyway have you already have this problem do you think its could be because havoc is enable??

Millz - how difficult would it be to add a FORCE AoE shortcut? (trigger on/off)

Would be amazeballs for fights like Xhul, Manni or Archi

Soul Swap is on my list to look into.

Pet -> Wrote a few notes on my to-do list to improve this using your suggestions. Pet Force Attack will ensure the pet continually goes after your target, but it would be cool to have an option like force attack healers - so that the pet stays on them all of the time. Not sure why it's not silencing properly, agree that isn't good at all.

Fear -> Wrote a note on to-do list for this too.

lvld till 100 with singular, since this one is to fast. Mobs not in range, but trying
to cast makes it look epileptic as hell.

Now 100 and fired it up, affliction, it only dots the dummys over and over.

Computer uptime is 22 days which is quite high. Try starting your PC up, then restart it (not off -> on, but selecting the 'restart' option).

Hmm you could set AoE unit count to 2 then toggle AoE on and off manually?
 
No it isnt lol. Pc is never longer on then 10 hours at a time.

Heres a new log, just log'd on and started the bot on dummys.

Can you try opening Developer Tools, click 'Console' tab. In the top large box, enter the code...

Cast UA on a target dummy, then click the run button in the console window, and see if the console says either True or False. Looks like it's not detecting auras correctly.

Hey Millz, glad you liked the suggestions!

I have found today what i consider to be a huge problem with the CR while moving. Ill attach the whole log file so you can see that i reproduce it every time. This is also with a complety new installation ov HB.

The reason that i have noticed this is because my dmg is so incredible low when im focused and have to move alot in arena.

Im at the training dummies in Stormsheild. and this is how the CR dots up the 5 targets while i move. ill comment after each line

This is reproduced every time, always 10 casts of agaony on the 5 targets and then the 5 casts of corruption. it seems that were having some troubles recognizing the dots.

Im not 100% sure if it runs exactly the same in PVP and against different names, But it would explain the low damage when moving around.

i dont think that would be ideal since the routine would have to still search/detect the units and you couldnt start AoE already before units pop up. You would also need to constantly change the value from fight to fight which doesnt seem like a clean solution IMO
