i have looked at new spec and so on but i'm uselæess to demo spec i know my desto well but meta i know nothing about and then i'm asking here what i need to set it on... if it will be doing right..

Change talent usage and hotkeys as you want since I use Cataclysm in normal form bcs our raid grp has strong AoE and all adds die in like less than 15 sec, so it's not viable for me to cast it in Meta form.

There are still small fixes to do with the routine. I believe we can polish it tomorrow properly. For now its 93% optimal :D

Import the two xmls there. One is the settings file, the other the aura list. Then you don't have to change anything.

You should not be demonbolt specced. You should go cata for AOE fights ( thogar / beastlord ) and then use Demonic Servatide and Grimoire of Servatidue for single target fights.
 
Hey nilrem I downloaded your attachment for Demo above and noticed you have use soulfire in demonform unchecked... is that correct? I thought soulfire should be cast in demon form now that there is no demonbolt... am I right or wrong on that?
 
Read it all. The settings hje is using is not updated into the release-version yet. It's uploaded to HB, but awaiting approval from buddystore. So sit tight :)

for fights like gruul, hanzar & franzok, kromog, blackhand I'd go service-servitude build
for rest synergy - cata build
do not glyph Dark Soul for any build
Fury settings are for all build same, low 650 - high 750. That is only for dumping while we wait for DS off cd. It will dump soulfires below 650 when DS is up so don't worry. Just try it out and tell us how it goes.
And don't forget logs :D

yes it should be unchecked to use it only with procs/darksoul. If you put check it will use soulfire every time when in meta form and you don't want that. It's explained in new build (we changed tooltip)

Trust me you won't see anything from build notes, we made so many tunings/fixes/improvements and background checks that notes would be large :D

Feel free when you test it to post questions and we will explain everything if something will be unclear.
If i get the time I will post a quick summary of demo spec and how it should work in 6.1, so you can track things down if it's working correctly.
 
Yo Nilrem, I just spoke to a Wlock friend of mine and discussed some openers. He said this was the best one:

1) Precast Soulfire or Shadowbolt
2) Pop Grimoire: Doomguard, (trinket if on use) and DS
3) HoG
4) Corruption
5) Shadowbolt
6) HoG
7) Meta and spend fury: SF>Chaos Wave>ToC

Havent had any time to test it out yet since Blizzard are keeping me of battlenet with the stupid servers they have. Will do some math tomorrow. But you have any toughts?
 
I'm experiencing an issue where my Pet doesn't auto attack when I engage combat. Doesn't matter which spec I am (destro/aff) and I've tried to reload HB without any change in behaviour.

Is this related to the *free* version or am I actually missing something painfully obvious ?

^ this. It's been approved now, but here's the notes anyway. We changed lots of little values so it doesn't really reflect everything that was done.

- Removed routine name from logging to game window.
- Added Hansgar and Frazok to ignore LoS checks.
- [Affliction] Cancel Cast -> Drain Soul logic has been improved for facing target and not cancelling/recast as often.
- [Demonology] If not talented for Demonbolt, will once again enter Metamorphosis form on aura list procs.
- [Demonology] 6.1 Tuning to Soul Fire, entering/canceling Metamorphosis, and Dark Soul usage.
- Default aura list updated (needs to be re-loaded manually).

Hmm that's pretty much what it should/will do I think.

Have you got your pet set to passive in game ? If so just change that.

Well that is what it does with exception of maybe that shadowbolt between 2 hogs and DS. We use hogs faster so we can go into meta faster while procs are up and then DS + dump what fury we have, it's good as it gets , if we try to squeeze more then it breaks rotation for lower geared people or messes up later in rotation. I was yesterday on darmac mythic and routine was pulling better numbers than my guildie who is better geared and has 4pc tier17, and that is an AoE fight where 4pc means a lot :D
 
Hello Milz, I have a suggestion for the cataclysm talent, is it possible to activate only in mode Aoe, and selecting for example from how many targets should be triggered. With a cursor for example and choose 1 to 8 targets?
 
Yeah. Was just thinking the reward over a buffed CW vs SF in the opener would make a litlle difference
