Hey, Sorry i dont have a log for this, But ive found that during combat tonight it started dropping Corruption and Doom and just spamming shadow bolt and soulfire Rotation. it was on Iron Qon and Twin consorts, Lei shen, Final part of raid finder.

I downloaded the HB again and updated the Demonic folder again and nothing...

I tested this out before I posted it and had 99% uptime on both DoTs. I'm not sure whats going on there... ? I decided last night I'm still not happy with Demonology and it's performance, so think i'm going to attempt to do some more drastic changes and see how it goes.

i know we are talking every now and then via skype, and u were tired yesterday
I've 2 logs on my home comp, to compare PureRotation and Demonic with DPS in a raid.
Both logs are from the same encounter (Megaera) and with the same 10m Raidgroup

I can confirm that the uptime of the dots is nearly 0 (Corruption)
Corruption was only casted after a metaform phase, so it dropped alot, while PureRotation had much better uptime.
I think it has to do with the improvements for the Lei Shen trinket, i'm not wearing it, cause it never dropped for me.
At the end (wipe) of both fights i must say that the dps of Demonic was (average dps) 20k lower than with PureRotation, and up to 40k (burst phase) lower than with PureRotation.

Since i'm currently tweaking PR for the Trinket, which is more or less fishing in dark water, since i don't have the trinket, the changes will go live there when i could test it.
But both (PureRotation AND Demonic) do have a very low DPS with Demonology Warlock atm.
On a dummy they perform ... okay, but as far as it comes to a real raid they drop alot and can't compare with other warlocks with same gear (after these wipes i switched back to Destruction since this rotation is performing good, but is behind Affliction and Demo in simcraft, and the other warlock could beat me again because of the Affliction specc he had)

I'll try PR and Demonic Affliction today (i think) if i can get better results there with and without multidotting, will report back then.

Cheers Storm. I don't think the issue is with the trinket (as the routine essentially selects a different rotation if you're holding the trinket - can explain more on Skype - no need to go into details here), but more so that I've tried to cater for everyone's feedback and as such as resulted negatively.

As per my previous post, I'm not happy with how it's performing at the minute, and I'm going to strip it back to going for the maximum dps rather than how procs are handled or soul fire / CDs are used etc.

Affliction is good to put pressure on both players at the same time (and healers because they can't dispell - UA). I like destro for the high burst damage - but don't think it would be much good at higher rating.

To add to this. It also depends on group makeup. I primarily play affliction. I don't go for rating and haven't tried recently. The best teams execute cc well and of CD. Remember the routine won't do everything correctly with PvP because anything can happen

In affliction spec, when the CR starts using Drain Life, it does not keep dots on the primary target or any target for that matter. In PVP it makes killing the attacker very difficult if you are only draining life.

Reduce the HP % to use drain life at. It's coded as defensive logic rather than a general filler.

lol playing with demo spec at the minute. Got a nice solid 15k dps increase. Cast @ 600 / Cancel @ 400 seems to work better too with this new setup. Will get it on the SVN soon.

Okay, the update I have currently that I'll be pushing shortly..

Over 20m damage done;
PR = 74.8k
PQR = 78.6k
Demonic (DS set to on Meta and Boss or Player): 76.5k
Demonic (DS on CD): 80.3k

*Edit* Found another trick.

Remember that SimCraft says my absolute max with a perfect rotation is 79k dps.

Just running it over 20m damage. Takes too long constantly re-testing when it's longer than that.

I'm back to 900/650 again now though. Have it on the SVN within 5mins.

Why CR don't use Soulfire in meta now? i have dps loss
