Update**

I have reforged and regemmed and it seems to maintain maximum of 8 MC Procs but will still cap out and just sit at 10 stacks for awhile. My dps is sustaining at 115k

I noticed it likes to weave a lot at lower fury lvls so demo form isnt necessarily up to MC dump. I updated the aoe count to 6 so it would see 4 dummies in range and just hellfire cast. Log attached if you want to see how its casting etc. About to test in lfr

Also, CR is not using pet abilities from what I am noticing, I have to manually use Felstorm

I'm 518 and i can't even get my demo spec to go over 100k single target lol

I have faith that Millz will get the coding correct, its trial and error, this CR is only a few weeks old so we can expect a well oiled machine w/o testing first.

you don't understand me.. i'll try to explain: we begin the fight. we need accumulate around 900 rage for using Meta + DS + Imp of Swarm. But we can't do this (mb with lowhaste and without t15), because we always have molten core procs from Hand of Guldan and our imps (yes, imp of swarm isn't cooldown, so they can proc). CR use Meta (rage), touch of chaos for corruption update and damage (rage) and 1-2 molten core procs (80 rage each). i damage dummy around 20 minutes. and i can't ger more when 500 rage because CR always waste rage for molten core procs. you need condition.. something like "check DS cooldown (2 minutes or 80 sec with 4t14), if cooldown more whan 30 sec then use molten core procs (not always in meta because it's +30 rage), if less whan 30 sec then we need 900+ rage then DS + Imp of Swarm + Doom if needed + touch of chaos if needed + molten core procs".
i think what your char have many haste rating so you can accumulate 900 rage with your conditions. But me (and many others) don't have rppm trinkets so we don't need many haste, crit priority. and we can't assume 900+ rage and can't use DS and Imp of Swarm with full rage. instead these CD waste of dps

Tried this method and my DPS dropped to ~65k ish. I've now changed it back to SimCrafts way and I'm at 76k (i.e. only using Molten Core procs when Dark Soul is up). I then changed Hand of Gul'dan to also cast when Molten Core has less than 8 seconds left on the buff (i.e. using it to stop the procs dropping off). DPS is now 71k. So it seems letting the Molten Core procs drop off isn't really that bad (because when you use Imp Swarm you get enough procs anyway).

Thanks. So SimCraft says your max DPS against a target dummy without flasking etc would be 105.6k dps. Hopefully with this Soul Fire fix, it'll resolve it. Good to have a target to aim for!
 
Pushed SimulationCraft's method to the SVN. It does seem to be the highest DPS... Updated the default PvE settings file too.
 
It was doing more than 105.6k so I guess win? All though it seems like it should be doing 130-140k sustained. I will try the new svn now.

7 Min test on dummy and now doing 123-130k dps

It probably will when you're fully raid buffed/flasked etc, but with only self buffs etc that seems pretty good.

it's impossible.. mb we can use molten core procs w/o meta form then DS on CD? because.. i test latest rev with simcraft rules on dummy, 100kk damage, 1 terrorguard. only 71.4k dps vs 90 teoretical simcraft.

did test by my hands. very tired so not so high dps. 95kk, dps 81k w/o terrorguard. i don't use Meta always for update corruption for 6 sec, using corruption manually. and use molten core procs always: in and out meta form. with DS and without DS.
so, my dps cicle was something like: guldan, corr, meta, doom, touch of chaos (for first), SB, SB, SB, guldan, soulfire, corruption, SB (no Meta because rage <900), rage 900 - Meta - DS - IoS - touch of chaos, doom, then if i have molten core procs - use it. no - touch of chaos. Meta for around 200 rage, then cancel and continue normal dps cicle. If i have 900 hage and no cd - Meta and using skills for around 600-650 rage.
and this gave me more dps, +10k. Can beat more but i'm very tired.. :)

I tried using MC procs out of meta form and the results weren't great. Can try again...
 
Yea i've fallen to the ermahgod my dummy dps is low. I am sure you are right, I am currently awaiting a 45 min queue or longer for an lfr wing to test it lol. Read above though it is higher, allthough its not truly single target as it keeps doom and corruption up on two additional dummies. number wise though its an improvement

Disable AoE in the GUI on the Demonology tab and it'll stop DoTing.
 
Imo dps isnt really good for demo. 510 ilvl and 63k on dummy :S simcraft says i should make 101k on dummy

On dummies? That's pretty good then. Busy playing around with Soul Fire out of meta form when the (stacks * soul fire cast time) > time remaining on molten core buff. Means it should pool to keep a high stack count but not waste any...
 
Yea on dummies, no flask, no pots, no doom/infernal, no meta, no unerring. Still waiting for this queue to pop and I can report the dmg from bosses
