[Warlock CC] skiWarlock 4.0 - ALL TREES -

ah ok, yeah i guess then the main Idea is to get rid of shadowflame and put another dot in there

there wouldn't be any other dots, and i'd imagine the shadowflame would be pretty situational, most instances it probably wouldn't even get cast. there is a talent that gives you back soulshards if you kill something with it, so that could be useful.

yes there is other dots? bane of agony or curse of elements which arent included in that priority list, if you look at the list it only includes banes and no curses, and no shawdoflame does not give you soul shards your thinking of shadowburn. shadowflame is quite useless, I've only used it once or twice in icc when I really really had to have as much burst as possible ortherwise I havent used it

That's a good point. With Banes and Curses being split, if there is a way to detect for boss types then for Affliction they should also throw Curse of Elements on the target as that helps quite a bit.

Oh and a cool feature to add would be to ss people in the group so if you have a healer or a priest they would get ss'd instead of myself

I am truly miss this CC. The best CC for warlock. Others Warlock CC is just ................. CRAP.

Can someone tell me what the correct pets are for all 3 specs for all levels? I don't have a lower level lock so idk.

i thought it was just Imp, Voidwalker,Felguard,Doomgaurd and saccubus, They can be summond by any spec, just depends on level, they unlock as you level
Imp > level 1
Voidwalker> level 8
Felhunter > level 30
DoomGuard> level 58
Saccubus> level 20

if thats what you were after.

Reading some discussions on the forums, I've come to these conclusions:

Destruction: Imp (1-20), Succubus (20 - When you get the talent "Empowered Imp", minimum level 34), Imp (34 - 85)
Demonology: Imp (1-10), Felguard (10-85)
Affliction: Imp (1-20), Succubus (20-80, Preferably with Glyph of Lash of Pain), Felhunter (81-85)

Of course a lot of this is just speculation with no hard numbers to back it up, and some of them depend on what talents and glyphs you choose as well.

Roger. I'm going to make the defaults Imp (Destro), Felguard (Demo), Succubus (Affliction). User can change them if they want, but I can't add level based pets atm, only whether or not they actually have them.

no atleast dont make aff the succubus change it to the felhunter its so much better for aff
otherwise yup everything is correct

Even better, then I don't have to change anything :)

Default for Affliction should be Succubus. The pet does at least 10% more damage then the Felhunter, especially with everyone having the Lash of Pain Glyph.

Pre-4.01 the Felhunter was a MUCH better choice. Not post-patch.

You *can* leave it at Felhunter as long as you leave in the ability for us to manually select which pet to use. But this goes against all of the big number crunchers out there.

Succubus it is. And yes, you can always choose. This is just for the plug'n'players.

Good news is that I've worked out the 300+ errors that came up with the newest version. Now I just need to update all the spells, rotations, and hope most of the mechanics are still the same.

Got all the old soul shard, spellstone, and firestone crap gone. Updated Curse of Agony to Bane of Agony.

Now to add the new spells and figure out how the hell I'm going to do the new soulshard mechanic...

I'll probably have it do a check in the Rest section to see if we've got 3 shards, if not use soul harvest if its up. In the combat, I'll have it finish with drain soul if shards aren't maxed out. When we have shards, ill trigger soul burn on a different spell depending on spec.

For Destro and Demo, I'll soulburn on Soulfire when its up. For Affli what's best? Drain Life? Soulfire?

don't have it use harvest unless we are low on life or we have 1 or less shards, otherwise itll be resting all day and night
