Hi all,
I have it running reasonably more stable now.
I switched back to Workstation 10.0.1.
On the VM:
- Only install VM Tools components that I need; disable PC2 and USB mouse drivers, disable audio drivers
- Adjust windows 7 for max performance in Advanced System Settings; set pagefile to constant
On the host:
- Workstation: Load entire VM memory into physical memory
- VM files now on second SSD
- Archeage: disable multithreaded rendering
It no longer crashes on its own. It still crashes IF I send a lot of simultaneous KB/mouse commands. Like circle strafing. Do not overlap KB or mouse presses and it stays running. I can minimize Archeage window on VM to conserve CPU power, but this might(?) cause disconnect.
EDIT: Nevermind just had a crash. The experiment continues.
