If you are not going to take this thread seriously and read it all, leave a silly answer, insult anyone or make a stupid joke, please do not even bother reading on and just move onto to another post
I have only been botting coming on 2-3 weeks now and have not even got to the point where I can sell gold yet, but I am eagerly awaiting it and the capital it will bring to open up new bots. I really don't have the experience in this area to make a good call on the following, so I reach out to any veteran botters with years of experience running double figure bots or any developer with some spare time to answer the questions I have. Before I get into it, I am a keen reader of the forums and have seen lots of the same posts in different threads with people just dismissing it which eventually ends up in some form of argument or thread close, I hope that the way I am laying this thread out, it will give the people with the knowledge the chance to give a detailed description of their opinion on the subject without having to shout someone down or defend anything, as I definitely need some sort of knowledge on this topic and I can imagine there are hundreds of similarly minded players in my position wanting to know the same thing.
TLDR; I am not trying to cause any trouble, I literally love the product and it is an amazing piece of software, I just have looked everywhere on the forum and cannot find a good and descriptive answer on the topic
Recently, or at least over the month of so I have read this forum daily, there has been about a 30% increase on ban reports in the ban section which range from all different kinds of botting schedules and specifically over the last few days there have been some rather extreme bans, in my inexperienced eyes anyway. Before I go on, my current understanding of Honorbuddy safety is as follows :-
If any of the above is wrong I apologise, reply below and I will quickly change it. So as mentioned above, any ban that lands on one of the points below or if the ban thread made is written by someone who clearly has no idea what's going on, it has seemed pretty normal to me and I have brushed over it without much thought, it has been the bans that do not meet the above criteria and often do not come anywhere close that have stuck out for me, the following examples give an idea of what I talking about :-
For the above examples, a bunch more threads and even some friends, they state to keep to the rules and still receive bans quickly and across multiple accounts, which I was not even aware Blizzard linked accounts together like that. The answer could be a number of things, the most simple answer being that posters are bending the truth being in the moment after getting a recent ban, but I really have no experience to know if that is the case, so I make this post to reach out to the people who do have some insight on this. The main thing that concerns me is the Kicks bans, I have read on many threads, mostly over a month old, that Kicks is incredibly safe and it results in a ban on a very rare occasion, could it be that this is no longer the case?
I can imagine the first thing a lot of people will want to say is, 'Don't bot if you don't want to get banned' but just because there is a chance you are going to get banned, does not mean you should not try and identify what is causing the bans and in result how to avoid them. Now to the question :- Taking the above in consideration, do you think that there has been an increase in bans recently and what do you think is causing it if so? If it is not the case, could you please describe what is going on with the ban section at the moment and why there are more and more ban reports each day? Please give as much detail as possible, as mentioned above, there are lots of people in the same situation that really would benefit from hearing either a warning or a descriptive reason to why we are just as safe as 2 months ago
Thank you, and I look forward to any serious answers

- Botting more than 12 hours a day is asking for it, and will eventually result in a ban
- Due to too many botters in a confined space, BGBuddy is a swift ban
- Large gold transfers get you banned quickly, trade should never be used
- DungeonBuddy with random players can be spotted and the reports lead to a quick ban
- GatherBuddy is safe, but with so many players using generic profiles such has GatherIT, reports come quickly and in result a ban
- AHBuddy gathers reports quickly and will normally result in a ban within a month, use Battlechests to counter this
- ProfessionBuddy is safe
- QuestBuddy e.g. Kicks profiles are pretty safe, but if unsupervised, /whispers and stucks can cause reports and result in a ban

- 3 hours a day to do daily's
- Kicks levelling, 11 hours a day average, 100% supervision, 3 accounts banned
- Questbot, 11 hours a day, 80% supervision, 5 accounts banned
- Kicks levelling, 9 hours a day, 100% supervision, 12 accounts banned
For the above examples, a bunch more threads and even some friends, they state to keep to the rules and still receive bans quickly and across multiple accounts, which I was not even aware Blizzard linked accounts together like that.
