First that comment syntax works in a fair few languages. Second running that with -R will work on MOST unix based systems third that's not being a dick. And if the best you can do is point out comment syntax and a missed capitol on a post made on my phone. *clap. Enjoy being the idiot paid 10 an hour. Now that's being a dick. You have a good day. So you are saying outside this thread. That may well be true. But in this thread no one has. So attacking people understandably frusterdated with paying for a service that is not being provided is not cool
 
They do that all the time without a simple reason as to why just like they bann accounts and give no reason as a paying customer i find that very childish and bad business ethics. Only makes you wonder if 12 year old kids run this bot or the forum

Well Good on Codename for not replying further. He recognized he wasn't helping the situation and stepped away. We all await a post from Bossland to explain what happened and the resolution to said issue and how they plan to prevent in the future.

K. So there is this giant group of people in the room.

I walk in and point to this group standing against the wall and call em assholes for standing against a wall.

Does that mean everyone in the room takes offence to my comment, or just the ones standing against a wall?

If it was not directed at you, then it obviously does not apply to you and gives you no reason to take offence, or even acknowledged the comment.

The sad part is you buy this. Honestly if he had simply made a post that went something like this

Looks like something is very messed up here's what we know. 1. Most honor buddy clients are not loading any of their buddy store purchases. We are working on the idea that it is a hardware issue so we are trying to get ahold of bossland. I will give you guys an update once an hour till this is fixed but we do expect to have it fixed at x:y:z time. Once again we are very sorry for the inconvenience and will try and solve this as quickly as possible.

People would be so much less mad

I don't buy this, I'm still very much upset with how everything has been handled thus far. And you are very correct, they should have recognized there was a shitstorm coming and got in front of it rather than telling everyone to open their own threads, be patient, do this thing that won't work, etc.

Without customers honorbuddy would be nothing. Just like any other company that lives off customers...

You're right the whining and jabs are not helping, but what can you do about it. Nothing. People are stupid and people will be people no matter how much you want to white knight it up.

Cant honestly completely disagree here. the first part is completely right. and yes some of the comments that have been made may be over the top. But at the same time. People are tired of the year after year of "Fuck you customer we will fix it when we feel like." Mentality that HB has shown.
 
It's 2012, we're in Cataclysm. I just updated CLU via SVN automatically by my computer as it checks every couple of hours. I just got the final tier piece for my Shaman now I'm off to do some 2s.
 
I am respectful as well as entitled. I understand there is hiccups. I run a very large Rust Community. As everyone knows Garry Newman is the dumbest peace of meat to walk the earth.

However. The service is down, I want to play wow.
I paid for the most expensive version of Honorbuddy as well as 6 different paid routines/bots.
I want my shit to work.

Ive been using Honorbuddy for a very long time now. Overall I am satisfied with the product and will continue to wait patiently. Without whining like a bitch on the forums and calling the staff of a great product useless, or shitty.
