Is HB Forums just plagued with children and illiterate bossy jerks or am I missing something?

When did all of you get so entitled as to think its all about you?

These folks can shut this thing down and tell you all to fuck off if they felt like it.

Show a little respect. Stay calm, and realize that a few hours or a day or two of not being able to bot isn't going to end the world for you.

If you really have nothing constructive to say, just be quiet and let them solve the issue. Spamming the forums with your little jabs and hate posts really doesn't do anything to help the situation.

If anything, I would say it makes them less likely to do things in a timely manor. I sure as hell wouldn't go out of my way to do something late at night to help a bunch of whiny little sissies.
 
Solution did not work for me as well.

Just wanted to say thank you CodenameG for offering a solution. I was pulling my hair out trying to figure it out and fix it myself. Finally decided to check on the forums and saw it wasn't just me. Clearing caches and fresh installs never hurt though.

Just tested and massive lag when starting it also.

No worries, it's nice to take a break now and then.
 
As the CTO of a company. Regardless of where the server is. You can easily restart it or simply restart the service. So whats to "work on"? Ill give you some help. I am assuming its a linux server So
SSH [username]@[address]
Enter password
// To restart the service
Service [service name here] restart
// To restart the machine
sudo shutdown -R now -m "Service down restart"

that will be 112.50
 
I like how my question continues to go unanswered.
That would be up to kick. Honestly they most likely are. But I am not sure manually running the scripts will help. HB will still sit there and pole over and over trying to get ahold of the buddy store server.
 
Uzzie first off who are you to sit there and hammer at people that just want some answers or problems solved for a product they pay for? Last time i checked if you pay for something to work good business ethics say you might want to keep it up and running 24/7 but hey i only have a masters in business I dont know anything. They just might stop complaining if a thread has solid solutions or reasons as to why store products dont work. Maybe future reference would be not to put everything in the store to stream from so in the event that this happens again people can just download the profile and not be completely down like patch days with no answers as to why or when it will be back up.
 
I get you guys are frustrated but taking your issues out on CodenameG who is just an employee is like taking your frustrations out on a waitress. They are just delivering the food dude they didn't cook it. Cut him some slack, at least he's trying to answer questions.

If anyone else is getting a dropped frame rate issue since this problem started, try changing the 'framelock' to off in settings & Tools . For whatever reason mine got turned on and set to 15, causing problems. As soon as I changed it my fps went back to its usual 130.

Wow someone with a brain. that understands why people are annoyed. You should hire this guy. You would get many more sales and much happier end users. I will also add. Talking to people on here as if they are idiots is not the best idea. A fair few of use added code to your "product" you now sell. and are most likely a fair bit more intelligent than you. SO mayyyyybee. Show some respect to your customers and dont act like an ass when a paying customer wants answers why your not fulfilling your part of the arrangement. aka I give you money you provide me with a service.

You are definitely missing something.

We paid for a bot, we paid for Plugins/Profiles/BotBases that we all don't have access to now. I'm all for the buddy store. But if shit like this is going to happen, they better offer an offline solution going forward. I shouldn't have to rely on support that gives no ETA to address my issue. And you're goddamn right I feel entitled. When I pay for something, it better fucking work. If my internet access went down, you'd be damn sure I'd be up someones ass at the cable company until the issue was resolved. I really don't appreciate someone telling me to "be patient". That isn't a fucking resolution. That is fuel to a growing fire.

You pay for a service you expect it to work. If you have taken someones money with a promise of a working product. When that product does not work you are obligated to answer your users questions and concerns in a timely fashion

You call into tech support for your internet company, and i guarentee when you start saying fuck you this and fuck you that you worthless son of a bitch, they will hang up on you until you talk to them in a calm collected manor. Period.

Its called common human decency. Obviously they did not intentionally down their own servers or corrupt their files just to cause problems for their own customers. Treat them with respect and talk to them like normal people. Simple as that.

I have not read one word of anyone bashing them. They just want a simple solution not someone like you chiming in saying they are being to mean for your 12 year old sensitivity. They would understand better if they received a better response not some simple solution they could figure out themselves. It is completely server side not user side that is what makes them angry so please go back to your pc and not comment on this situation you are only going to make more pissed off.

I did, because he closed my thread without resolution. It's bad support, plain and simple.
