As I stated and still believe, the game clients and/or the API will change faster than we will be able to reverse them. What we are doing is clearly not sustainable.

I don't agree. Niantic is like the big whale that makes very slow moves, but their moves are very strong and very devastating, while the developers are small quick fishes that make little bites, but they move quickly. Niantic is currently re-engineering their infrastructure, but they still keep pieces of the old system. Thus the changes. Old 3rd party applications are becoming obsolete because of these changes and most developers they don't want to keep up with changes. That's why lot of the applications did not come back when the 0.45 API was made public. We just need to wait for Niantic to finish their changes in their infrastructure for Gen 2 pokemon and you will see the deve community coming back to it after the "whale" has "finished moving. "

The problem with the thread is that the originator, CAcove became a staff of PF discord, which made his present and future advices and announcements "Unofficially Official". I don't know if I will congratulate you or wish you luck, but in your eagerness to help other clients, you also allowed yourself to get trapped into that position, you really need to abide by their rule, and minimize those "I think" and "In my point of view" etc... because you now represent the PF staff, and you now speak on their behalf. I hope that you don't have any aspiration to become a moderator here. You have provided more advice in an Unofficial capacity than most moderators do.

I am not bound by those rules and I don't represent PF staff, so my posts will always be non official, and free to post "unofficial" announcements and other posts.

The issue with that, is that I am merely support staff in the discord channel. I am not offical staff of Bossland nor BuddyBots in any way, my role is to provide chat support based on the knowledge I have gleaned within the forums only. Anything I do on here is purely with the same "authority" as anyone of you. I do not even have the powers to post in the announcements section. I hope that helps a bit.
