I'm not sure what the big deal is about.
Banned customers -botting or not- will simply leave the game. He has to answer to investors on meetings regarding the drop in profits.
Existing players who are against botting will notice that the prices will skyrocket -they has already started if you check the labor pots which has doubled from this and possibly other reasons- and will realize the company only made their endless grind even harder and will eventually leave.
You have to ban bots but you have to be smart about it:
1.Ban gold sellers
2.Regular hack users or botters get a slap on the hand
3.Land grabbers may get a slap on the hand or fully banned but the land they grabbed should be released and preferably in a public event to gain popularity for the company.
Banning some bots benefits the average joe customer. Banning all bots profits the company but hurts the average customer since prices go up and the grind gets worse and it becomes a 2nd job or pay Trion more money.
