Ultima - The Ultimate Combat Routine

I hope you feel better :o Anyway, I haven't tested the low level dungeon rotation for drg yet, but the jumps weaving seems to be a lot better now. Thank you very much for your work. I appreciate it. I will be sure to do more tests shortly to see if i can see any bugs than need reporting.
EDIT1: low level rotation seems to be fine now.

hi i might be doing something wrong but i cant click any of the check boxes for cross class skills on the pug, i have them equipped on my skill bar and enabled, also doesnt seem to use any of the cooldown abilities except internal release.

The Cross-Class skills arent full implemented yet. Endus is working on then already. Only the skills thats already marked are working for now

Yes. It usually tends to fall off. It tends to prioritize using other ninjutsu when it really should be reapplied too. (at around 6 secs or so of it left, it used raiton instead). Not to be rude or anything, but wouldn't it make more sense if you reapplied it earlier so it doesn't just fall off?

First off, this is amazing.
Second, I appreciate the work you've put into this.
Third, which has recently been mentioned about Huton, mine is also falling off and at times I have to wait the full CD of my Ninjutsu skills which can be up to 20 seconds depending if Kassatsu is up or not. I don't know if there is a way to give the skill a 20 second window near the end of it's duration where it will reapply? I'd obviously leave your brain up to those kinds of development.

Either way, thanks for all the work on this.

Right now it seems to refresh de/buffs when they're running out, and use the non-de/buff abilities (Bootshine, True Strike, Snap Punch) otherwise. This isn't necessarily optimal, as it ignores what position you're currently at. If you're on the side, even if Dragon Kick debuff still has 9s, you should still use DK because with the positional bonus it is exactly as strong as side-Bootshine, and refreshes the debuff so you have the option of using BS next rotation. The same thing applies to Twin Snakes and True Strike.
Demolish and Snap Punch are a little trickier, since Demo has so little upfront damage. Even if you're in the rear, if Demo has a long time remaining its probably better to use Snap Punch. However if Demo dot only has a few seconds left, its definitely better to refresh if you're in the rear. If you're in the flank, its likely better to not use Demo unless the dot is completely gone.
Since keeping Greased Lightning up should be a priority, non-combo on-gcd spells such as Touch of Death should have a check to make sure that GL is safe. Doesn't matter on dummy parses, but if you're dodging things in an encounter you don't want to get back to the boss with 2s left on GL3 and then use Touch of Death instead of Demolish.

I'm not really a monk main, so if someone else has stuff to add feel free. Those are just some things that I think make sense.

That just goes back to the fact that I set all the DoTs/Buffs to 4 seconds and forgot to go back and update them lol. I made a pass on all the DoTs/Buffs I thought could use improvements. Let me know if you notice any issues with them.

Does anyone have an i110 ninja and using this profile? I get around 390-400 dps as an i110 nin w/vajras. My equally geared dragoon gets around 425. I know the drg got buffed recently, but the ninja dps seems a bit low. Curious to see what others get.

All depends on what parser you're using. My ilvl 98 NIN reports 400 on FFXIV APP (Which imo is a crap app) and 300 on ACT (my preferred parser).
 
Anyone else having trouble running Fate bot with pugulist ? He seems to teleport to crystal and just spam fists of earth or w/e

I don't see anything that immediately stands out to me in the code as being an issue. Are you using any plugins or modified bot bases (like a modified ExCombat or what not)? If so try disabling those and see if that helps.

Otherwise, if you don't have any plugins/non-standard bot bases, could you post a log?

I have an ilvl 114 nin and only do 430. While using kupper I do 480-490

fixed, thank you, i was tinkering with the code, i'm not a programmer by any means but i'm fairly savvy, was there an issue the behaviors precombat.cs?

My i113 ninja w/ diamond daggers does about 470-80 with kupper over a 3 minute parse. What weapon did you have? Were you using any buffs? ie food/pots/dex buff etc etc

I'm tryign to add protect to pre-combat for most of my jobs , is there something simple i am missing or am i in over my head


1) Updated Ultimasettings.cs , however when i reopen the checkbox is not selected nor can i select it.

If all you want to do is force it to use Protect you don't need to mess with the Form/Settings at all (that's just there for when it's implemented officially so people can toggle it off if they don't want it).

You're correct in that you have to add it into PreCombatBuffs (just like you did it), but you will also need to go into the Method folder for that Class/Job and edit the actual Method for Protect. Take out the If Ultima.Ultsettings.ClassJobProtect (since that's the toggle logic which doesn't currently exist and will always equal False) and add a If !Core.Player.HasAura("Protect") (or instead of "Protect" using MySpells.CrossClass.Protect.Name which is the same difference) .
