Also CrazyJosh, I appreciate the efforts but i don't need to remind you that you are effectively selling your product (call it what you will, Donation what ever) Don't get me wrong I think your price is fair and ive payed it, But this is a payed product We have the right to complain about something that is not working as effectively as a previous release..
But "Out of the box" my monk was doing X amout of HPS during fight A and B with no user input (apart from moving) with the old release.
and now my monk is doing -10-15k HPS less then X amount of HPS during fight A and B with no user input..
I have found the reaction time of the release. to be 200-400ms slower then the older release.
I also found it rude that you expected me to read 154 pages of posts to find the "working settings"
Perhaps if these setting are required they should have been posted on the starting page..
Regards.. "YOUR PAYING CUSTOMER"
First off, I am going to try to be extremely nice as Tuan does not like me being rude on his thread and I respect that. This is not my product, I do not market it, I do not advertise it, I do not own it, I am simply assisting with it.
Second, while I understand completely that you do not wish to read all 154 pages of this thread, I do expect people to at least read the last few pages of a thread when they ask for something. If I posted settings each and every time someone has asked for them in this thread, close to every third post would be nothing but images and settings. I have posted my personal settings on here a number of times, I have explained how exactly to optimize settings and hps a number of times, other users have done the same, and people just do not seem to get it. So please, let me break this down as simple and politely as I can for you as this is what you are asking me to do:
1: Go through every dungeon - normal and heroic
2: Make screenshots of all my settings for each individual boss
3: Collect all the leather healing gear while doing so and fit them into my 22 slot bags (since I write this for you I dont have time to farm)
4: Go through every raid - lfr, 10man, 25man, normal, and heroic
5: Make screenshots of all my settings for each individual boss
6: Post all of these settings on the board. These settings will all be valid for a iLvl 490 Mistweaver.
7: Take all the collected random gear, go back and redo steps 1-6 for iLvl 489, 483, 463, 458, 450, and 442.
The reason for this is simple. I can personally heal full 5 man heroics with nothing but renewing mist and an occasional chi wave / uplift. Why? I am iLvl 490. Could someone with 480 iLvl do this? Not probable. Could someone with 463 do this? No way in hell.
Mistweavers are 100% gear dependent. If you want something with an "Out of box 100% perfection experience", you are going to never be satisfied. I never use Soothing Mist on Elegon. I almost always use it on Kings, sometimes I glyph uplift on Kings, sometimes I don't. Each raid fight is completely different on how you play, how your raid is playing, your job in the raid, and most importantly your iLvl.
Last night I did the first boss in Terrace and has soothing mist to 70%, and had limited mana issues. Again - is this what someone with 480 ilvl would do? No. They would go oom.
I only have one lockout each week, and that is used for 25man heroic typically. I also do LFR and an occasional heroic.
I am sorry - it is impossible for me to give settings for every possible situation.
Third, if you are having issues, I apologize, please post a log. 99.9% of responses any dev sees without a log is overlooked and ignored.
Fourth, if people can't manage to do a simple thread search for the words "CrazyJosh + settings" or even read the last 5-6 pages of threads - hell just look for the attachments or pictures, it is extremely frustrating for me.
I understand your frustration - I am getting bugs fixed as quickly as possible and spend nearly 8+ hours a day on this CR right now. Without logs and detailed information, it is extremely difficult to fix bugs or assist in other peoples settings. I try not to release code that has not been extensively tested by myself and my testing team.
good point here. josh, it would be nice if you can post your recommended settings for 5, 10 and 25 mans on the first post, since everyone noticed less healing since the update.
Everyone isn't noticing healing loss, a lot of people have improved healing. I can't update the first post, I'm sorry. Now - please refer to my above response.
This is pretty much what I was talking about in terms of healing being lower, I only arena/pvp mostly. I noticed it was very slow also, sometimes it was fine most times just very slow to "kick in". That was all with the latest version by the way (rev19). So revision 6 works for arena? I'll check it out, thanks!
Enable "Heal OOC". It is probably just waiting for combat to initiate before healing.
