Nope, this issue is still not resolved. Just ran a heroic butcher, doing the exact same DPS I was doing last week. It still uses Fists of Fury on CD and doesn't wait for 10 stacks TEB, which is literally a 3k dps loss over the course of a 5 minute fight.

Even worse, Tuan removed the option to wait for big CD's, which i was using to give me time to manually hit TEB before the FoF goes off. Even an 8/9 stack TEB is better than no TEB when you're about to Fists of Fury.

Could you make it check for TEB buff and potentially wait for 10 stacks before using FoF? It's a massive DPS boost to wait for TEB before you FoF since FoF is almost 20% of our damage in a fight.


EDIT: For anyone raiding tonight and if Tuan doesn't fix this, just make sure you spam Blackout Kick if FoF is off cooldown and you need 1-2 more stacks of TEB. The routine won't be able to hit it without the Chi and then when you do have 10 stacks, it'll hit it and FoF immediately when you have the Chi. This resolves any issues with DPS.

Other than the FoF/TEB issue, pretty much perfect rotation.

Then as Throwaway says, you're losing out on A LOT of Single Target (And therefore cleave multitarget) DPS. Better to wait a few mores seconds for a fists of fury that does +60% damage rather than even longer for when TEB can be used efficiently again. If it pleases you, can you give us the option to make it so FoF is only used when a TeB buff is up so we're not losing out on so much? Just a checkbox or something.

This would be insanely good. If it's on 8 stacks, you're guaranteed to have 10 soon, and the dps loss from waiting just a tiny bit of extra time for those 10 stacks is worth it for the HUGE dps boost that FoF gives you.

No disrespect to you Tuan, I know your routines are absolutely the best out there (In my experience) and I want to contribute to making them as good as possible.

Both from my testing and simcraft show the same result, I get lower dps if sync FoF with TeB...

Well in all that maybe only true on my gear because my ilevel is really low and I got very low haste rating. This also can be true in real raid because people moving, boss moving and our Energy Regen is not the problem.

So as you please, I've add new check box to synchronize 2 spell. By default it's off, you can enable it and test.

In an rbg, it only uses renewing mist once when pool of mists is active. It will rarely use it a second time and never a third time. Please fix this.

Hi TuanHA, I know this is supposed to be for the free version, but I was wondering if you could implement Touch of Death (and PVP version) and use of Chi Explosion (with setting for 1 - 4 chi to use) for Brewmaster on Premium, Thanks.

Any news on this at all man, just checking as atm I'm having to use another CR till its fixed and I'd prefer to use yours for the better defensive CD usage. Also Clash doesn't exist at all, you still have a check box for it, any reason for this?

I'm running a WW with 668 ilvl, and highmaul gear has an OBSCENE amount of haste and mastery. Although they're terrible stats, it means that I'm consistently generating a lot of TEB stacks. My gripe with this issue was that almost every single time I FoF'd around 1 minute into the fight, FoF was going off when TEB was at 8/9 stacks, which is an incredible waste. FoF'ing when you have less than that is fine, but when you're so close to 10 stack TEB you really should just wait.

I guess coding it so that it checks for TEB stacks and not the buff would be a bit much. This fix is fine for my case, but everyone else probably won't benefit.

You seem to be enjoying success as windwalker with the CR. I am doing more dmg with Singular. Mind helping us out a bit friend?

Could it be your settings? I cleared Butcher on Normal and Heroic in raid today. using Burst Keys & manually casting TEB + FoF on the opener during procs it seemed to of ran fine.

Only issue is seen is the small one ThrowAway noted above

Totally could be - but I don't know what settings I should be using. Manually using skills? What burst? Isn't there only one CD for us --- Xuen? Or are you using Sernity?

For butcher I used Chi Brew, Xuen, and Serenity.

I only manually cast TEB (between 6 - 10stacks)and FoF on the opener otherwise the CR casts FoF without TEB after trinket procs have worn off, soon as FoF finish casting follow with Serenity after this i let the CR do its thing.

Yeah, I've been manually using TEB now which has seen a massive increase in my DPS and allows the automation part of my rotation to be a lot easier. It's only really cooldowns I have to track now!
