Trinity - Wizard Class

Thing is, the wizard is so badly done that u can't even imagine doing any high mp with the bot. I can normally run my wizard by hand on mp 4(archon) and up to mp 6-7(cm/ww) but with the bot anything more then mp1 is not possible.

Totally disagree. I do mp4/mp5 with wiz (archon)

Can u post some more info on it, mainly interested about your character stats, what profile u using , what skill build u use?
My stats atm are
185k dps
45k hp
600 AR
2.8 LS / 800 LoH (without blood weapon)
CC 48% / CD 360 %
2.2 ApS

This is all without buffs and thing is he can kill in Archon everything but when Archon fells of then that's it.

Hey Guys,
I'm using the most recent unified trinity with some edits I found here. Right now I am running mp4 @ 230k dps, but am averaging 2 deaths per hour. I found that the deaths are coming from staying in archon form for too long and not rebuffing armor and magic weapon. Basically I was wondering if there was a way that after archon is popped, trinity will start a timer to cancel the buff after 2 minutes. That way the bot can rebuff and immediately go back into archon. After a little search on the forum I found a post that had this cancel spell id:

Archon_Cancel 166616

Thanks for any feedback anyone can provide.

It is really geared more towards breezing through mp3.. for mp4/mp5 might want to use something defensive like blur instead of glass cannon

Or maybe just stack a touch more AR or armor and you should be able to do mp4 with 4-5 dph

Also my follower (chant) has a maximus, which spawns a demon and firechain which is good for tanking while im waiting for archon to cool down.

Thanks for that that's a similar build to what i use, i just want to ask u something else, if u have ever seen your bot fell of Archon form, how does he manage elite packs with forked lighting.
I assume u die few times but i would be happy like a child in a candy shop if i could run mp3 with like 1-2 deaths max per hour.

Yeah. Basically yes. He dies against tough affixes, but genearally does the job when he comes back around. He survives better if I use prismatic, but it slows him down so much I dont bother.

You probably need >200kdps and >750 AR unbuffed if you want to stand toe to toe with elites in mp4 with archon dropped. But basically, thats the way the archon build works while botting: you assume that if you lose archon while fighting elites, you die. There isn't much you can do to get around it. You make up for it by being able to rush quickly through the trash...

dear all, i am looking for a skill build to farm at best efficiency in a3 mp1

currently using:

electrocute
EA resist
storm chaser
EB - chain reaction
diamond skin
nova

bump. looking for someone to guide me. it baffles me really, having all the right gear and yet dying a bunch in mp1.
(something needs to be done about running into molten cores for items; using unified version 0.45)

Good, then I'm not the only one.
The wiz attacking walls guy mentioned it was only during Archon, though. Forgot to mention that
 
Stats:
260k DPS (100k+ is alright I guess)
HP 40k
LS 2.9
Bit of LOH (300-500 can't remember)
AR - 700 unbuffed (without glass cannon)
Armor - 4.3k or so with EA Active

Thats all that matters.

Build:
Electrocute - Forked lightning
Archon - Improved Archon
Diamond Skin - Crystal Shell
Magic Weapon - Force Weapon or LS rune
Familiar Sparkflint
EA - Prismatic or pinpoint depending on you AR

Cold dmg SOJ + Windforce + Puzzle ring on scoundrel = double goblins per hour, chilled enemy's and knockback (look for 45+% windforce)

Passives:
CM/Evocation (up to you)
Glass Cannon (swap for whatever you didn't use above if you have lower AR/Armor)
Cold Blooded.

With stats posted above I get 0.2-0.3 DPH on MP1 (before all these issues with 1.06)

The guy is saying he Wants To Buy a better Wizard script or logic because his, is dying all the time...

Well i don't think that is the case, we already shared some info and i think i know why my wiz is a bit off from yours in terms of Archon farming, but your cm/ww actually runs good?
My primary gear is for it and its better optimized then the archon one and still it suck way more.
Thing is he doesn't know how to freeze and "collect" multiple targets in a pile, the bot casts nova on like 2-3 mobs kills them run in the next pack and so on, that way loosing so much possible movement and not to mention that very often having nova on cd and dying to the next elite pack, best thing would be to pickup few mobs, teleport in the next pile of mobs, freeze and do his thing and do that again because freezing and killing 3 by 3 mobs is very slow and once it will have a cd on the spell and will die due to it.
Also yes the Archon wall attack is here, mostly in Keep Depths 2 but i believe that's the DB or the profile issue not the trinity.

Sup jubis, I'm guessing that guy means that CM/WW isn't as efficient as hand playing the wizard.

1) Energy Twister only gets casted when you have enough Arcane Power.
1a) When the Wizard runs out of Arcane Power to cast an offensive spell (in this case, Energy Twister), that particular spell reverts to a "default attack". With GilesTrinity, demonbuddy doesn't recognize that "default attack" as a usable spell as the main spell (Energy Twister) is "uncastable" giving messages such as "are you sure your crit chance is enough for this build" etc. There was an edit (by cfong I think) to the //default attack script for wizards to spam the "default attack" but it has failed to work ever since a certain demonbuddy version.
1b) Positioning of the Energy Twisters is inaccurate at times. Sometimes, it will plant the Twister slightly stray of the mobs. It's all fine and dandy until the mobs move a little, which allows them to escape from the Twister's hit box. No hits = no procs = no cc and diamond skin.

2) Wormhole doesn't work. Modifying the cooldowns does make it work outside of combat, but it retards the use of teleport in combat. As a note, Belphagor is pretty good at using wormhole. We might want to take some reference from that combat sequence.

3) Fire Chains and Arcane Enchanted. Bot has trouble positioning itself against these 2 kind of affixes. In a good situation, bot survives. In a bad situation, bot dies multiple times. I know creating vector lines is insanely resource intensive, but maybe we can actually position ourselves closer to the elites which in turn would allow for more Energy Twister procs and more cc and diamond skin... Which brings us back to the problem of 1a.

4) Frozen. Bot tends to run away towards the side where it is closer to radius of the frost ball. Imagine a circle with a dot in the center. That dot is the ice ball and the circle is the radius of the CC. The bot favors running toward to the shortest distance to the exterior of the circle, which at times, is right beside a wall/door/impenetrable object. I'm guessing this is part of the GilesTrinity avoidance script. A suitable fix would be backtracking 10ft to the previous waypoint (which is totally unblockable because we just came from there, unless its a waller then gg).

Somehow i found archon spells setup working more efficiently in clearing MP1 for me ;) sometimes it helps NOT to be inside action, if it does without LS going die pretty soon.
Can somebody clear me LS topic? 2,6% LS (with inferno "discount") is enough to help survivality? I am talking about electrocute with forked lighting, and archon beam. How does well this works?
 
Which plug-in should I use when running the A3- Inferno Champion-Hunting profile?
I am a wizzard and im not sure whats a good build to run it and which plug-in I should use for it?
 
I'd like the bot to exit Archon if one of my buffs expires and rebuff. Can someone help me out or maybe point me in the right direction. I can't be the first one to ask for something like this.
 
I am having trouble with my Archon uptime. Anyone know how to improve it?
