Trinity item scores is NOT an accurate way to determine an item's value for Leg/Set

trinity is badass to keep good rares, but the score means nothing as far as legendaries or set items are concerned. Points are given to an item based on the affixes they roll, legendary and set items have affixes that never spawn on rare items of the same kind (such as +attack speed on the lacuni prowlers. you're not given any score for that roll). they are not credited for these stats.

The best example i can give is the Stone of Jordan. it will ALWAYS score a ZERO in trinity. Why? because it doesn't have any random affixes, and the only 4 properties that are on that ring cannot spawn on magic/rare rings and are not giving any points. That doesn't stop the SOJ from being an item that sells for minimum 1 mill and can easily roll into the 100m+ if it rolls well.


Imo, if you try to modifiy trinity in order to keep/sell some legendaries solely based on score to save yourself some time, you're making a big mistake.
 
Your example about legendaries is a little off because trinity always keeps legendaries and sets and you're not going to be getting an overwhelming number of them in a reasonable time. I guess you could argue you want to only keep legendaries that are worth while then I guess you might be right but it seems rather trivial of an issue.

did you even read his post? it was directed at people attempting to edit trinity to only keep legendaries based on their score, and like he said only the random affixes are given a score which means the majority of legendaries end up scoring really low.

get mad? something trivial to you might not be trivial to somebody else. vendoring a ton of frostburns and storm crows every morning is a complete waste of time, and depending on how many bots you have it can be really tedious.

grow up yeah.

The people saying this is trivial obviously have a very limited number of bots. Sure, it only takes you a minute for your account, but add in 30+ accounts. This is now 30+ minutes.

The less time I'm having to interrupt my bots mid run to clear out the stash = more profit and more personal time.

People think the world revolves around them.

I have a friend that started botting. He also thinks programs that'll launch all your d3's are pointless. He had 1 bot... He now has 6 and finally decided to try innerspace. Mind is blown at the time he saves now. Can click 1 button and go fap now.
 
it's true, selling frost burn every morning isn't kind of funny :D

is there a good "free" item-rule/plugin which sells crap legendaries?

the best is when a SOJ drops and the trinity score is 0. first time I saw an item with score of 0.
