I got a Issue with spawning mobs in areas like skycrown battlements or tower of the cursed. The Bot waits everytime at certain points until a whole pack of minions climbed up the walls. Dont know if this is reported yet
 
Looks like a nightmare to make work correctly and a bucket full of confusion for newbs :)

Certain skills definitely need the ability to be user-customizable, but the approach in UI for each skill should be unique to that skill. Some should have sliders, enable/disable functions, but allowing a user to uncheck "Use OOC" for something like Fists of Thunder doesn't *quite* make sense to me.

For example, Wave of Light definately needs some customization options as to how many elites/trash mobs, max range, etc etc before it kicks in. Similarly to something like Wiz Frost Nova or WD Soul Harvest. But should we add generic configuration options for EVERY spell? hmm..

It's a system to figure out what is the best way for your bot to handle available skills, and a way to select which skills are supposed to weight more than the others.

It was a nightmare to put in place. Its unbelievable how much code it takes. The skill priority bit was the easiest and shortest part.
So far I've been more than pleased at the setup, I've managed to add 8M exp/h just with this.

Its not really that difficult to handle. You can't really make anything stop working with this, BUT you can have odd results.
I have to agree with you though, even with default values set in, someone would manage to mess their skills up.

The skill priority selection is pretty amazing tho, It's something you must implement at one point or another if you want Trinity to be as efficient as possible.
Either hardcode the priorities or let the user handle them, but nevertheless, it is a must :)

60 games an hour OMG! Sadly, this is not a good thing. I updated to 1.7.2.5 this morning and im getting stuck in keeps 2 just about every time. I will get some screen shots next time i catch it!!



EDIT: my bots are completely screwed, they just randomly will start running odd directions into walls and when i restart the bot it just wants to go right back to that position. I cannot complete a full game on any of them. I am an extreme noob to this and I don't know what the deal is, Is there any way i get 1.7.2.2 somehow? I know that one worked flawlessly for me.

If you have already made it, couldn't you share the sourcecode, then rrix could maybe implement it in some way.
I can't exactly merge my version trinity with rrrix's, this skill system isn't the only bit different with rrrix's trinity. If I requested a merge with mine, and for some reason rrrix approved it, this forum would be filled with rage.
I've developed my fork for my needs, so I've obviously taken a shortcut here and there.

All I can do without causing too much trouble is, offer code snippets or explain how I did something.
 
Customizable priority through the UI is a good idea, along with spell-specific monster count customization. Anyone can actually do it right now by simply re-ordering the sections of each spell in the appropriate Abilities\class.cs file, but it's not as user friendly as "higher/lower" button.

Zooohnoes have you done it for all classes, or only monks?
 
I have been having alot of running back and forth on my bot. Newest DB, trinity 1.7.2.4 and never triggered the gold timer

Since updating to 1.7.2.5 - enabling/disabling the trinity plugin seems to crash DB

I could enable/disable etc quest-tools fine.

Ive downloaded and using the .179 beta atm with 1.7.2.5 - this has since fixed the issue I had it seems, so win win atm

that's what advanced settings and "reset to default" buttons are for ;)

in all seriousness this is something I requested way back when giles was very active as I was one of the many that made small changes every time a new version came out (which was almost daily).

adding these settings shouldn't be considered a high priority over other things *cough* tempest rush *cough* but long term I think it should definitely be considered, especially if somebody else has already done the work.
 
imo its incredible thing :) but as someone said being able to proritaze some spells would be even better :) e.g i have monk with increabile spirit regen and bell (40 spirit cost) so it would be way more efficient to cast it all the time insetad of using thunderstrike, but at this point i dont know how to change that :) i belive theres a lot of players who would like to customize things :)

Since upgrading to .179 and 1.7.2.5, my barbs have been purposely whirlwinding into Arcane Beams and just standing in them being derps. Any solutions?

Good question, right here. I noticed that the files got different code, but just slightly so. What's the difference, really?

Two things:
1) It's named differently :)
2) The Trinity Routine (v1.1) will not cause DB to dump an error message into the log window at the character selection menu

Other than that, there's no functional difference. It won't get you any more GPH, IPH, or EPH, etc.
