As the instructions say on the first post, if you wish to manually move the toons, you need to use the rear service entrance to Strathom, not the live entrance.
 
is it possible to run the booster manuallyand use the profile for the bots just to automate them staying in range? perhaps while running the booster with smthing like combatbot or raidbot?
 
Sure as long as you don't run too far ahead of the RAF's.

Is it going to work like this:

Bnet account n?1:

  • "WoW 1"
  • "WoW 2"

Bnet account n?2:

  • "WoW 3"

"WoW 2" invited "WoW 3" to play and i want "WoW 1" to boost "WoW 2" and "WoW 3". Is it going to work or Blizzard will consider "WoW 3" RaFed to "WoW 1" AND "WoW 2". I can't check on my first wow license if i am RaF to WoW 3 because i am banned for 3 days :D

The booster should not be RAFed to any of the alts, the alts should be Rafed to each other 2 x 2.

Testing this atm and i have a question: after clearing the dungeon i always have a box asking me to press "continue profile", no way to automatically accept ?
 
Well, there are ways to do it. But I won't code it to be 100% afkable because then people will abuse it and get banned.

One other question: how much time does the RaF bonus lasts ? 90 days ?
 
Some newbie questions : This works if the tank booster is on another realm right from the leve 10s he is boosting right ?
Is is better to run them on the same computer ? I have 2 computers and 1 can only have 2 wow's active at one time .
 
It works as long as the RAFs or Tank can CRZ to each other. You can run them on the same or multiple computers.

Great Profile, Works very well. One thing i noticed, in the Stratholme profile, toons dont get the RAF bonus. They only get it in the first wave clear up and from then on, the toons are too far to get the bonus. They only get RAF bonuses on boss kills from then on. Was this intended? I tried manually getting closer to the tank, usually tank missed a add or two or a new gargoyle looking thing spawned out of nowhere and killed my raf toons. SO i just decided to level this section the way it is right now. I am curious was it a dungeon issue and hence u decided to abandon the raf bonus for this part or is it something wrong on my end? Nevertheless Great profile. Will be using it all the way till 85.

Progress

1-42 in somewhere around 8-10 hrs, i took breaks here and there since i was working while doing this.
the Stratholme profile really has slowed down the progress though.
 
No, you should be getting RAF XP all the way through, although there are a few mobs that don't give triple XP. More than likely I need to move the wait locations for the RAF's a little closer to the tank there. I will try to get a toon to the right level and test it myself and see what I can do about that. Thanks for the heads up.

Yea there is raf exp on some of the mobs in the second wave, but the third wave definitely no raf bonus except the bosses. Maybe move closer to the gate, or make the tank kill the insects that come when u enter the gate, so that u can move the raf toons inside the gate, which hopefully might bring the raf back for the 3rd wave.


Also just started blackrock spire, the Raf parking spots in there seem to be off as well. when tank goes left up the stairs and clears that area, RAF bonus is lost because raf parking is to far away. How do you get your coordinates, if i can figure that out i could possible edit the coords and msg them to you.

Yes, the RAF gains go out of range starting in strat and blackrock. Continues to be a problem in BC (furnace, ramparts) and
HoL as well.

This also occurs somewhat in deadmines (kills massive pull @ top of the ship).

Unfortunately the RAF needs more complex move and wait points and/or drag mobs back to RAFs waiting locations when possible.

I've started adding /editing points, but I'm not good with having the needed wait times line up on the Main profile. If my work nets anything productive I'll share.

Also main profiles need a few tweaks to avoid the random mob that gets missed if the group will follow closer.

Besides the strat gargoyle ,Blackrock can spawn a random summoned elite that pats in the groups waiting area - wiping them. ( Freaked me out @ first. I thought a GM spawned him... 1 of 20 runs tho)

Still a great semi-afk set to use. With some tweaks it could be much faster.

I got a question.

I got 90lvl booster + 4 toons to levels.
What I do is exactly follow instructions and it works almost well... sadly almost..

Sad thing is that when I start profiles, the alts go manually to the waypoint when lvl90 gathers before clearing the way to dungeon. But they constantly get killed on the route, by high level mobs...

How can I overcome this so they safely get to starting location.
 
Well, the profiles are designed to escort the RAF toons where needed, not to say the booster will get every mob on the way to the instance. If you are having issues, you can maually move all the toons to the instance. Then start the booster, he will exit, reset the instance and then re-enter, then start the RAF's, they will exit and re-enter, once you have all the popup windows, press continue on the tank followed by the RAFs a few seconds later.
 
I'm currently running a group through. However, I don't have 5 HB keys so I'm using 1 key for the tank and 1 key for 1 RAF. The other 3 RAFs are set to follow the RAF running HB.

I'm currently at level 58 (just finished UBRS). All instances have run perfect with this method except for Deadmines which was a nightmare because of lots of RAF movement resulting in many followers getting stuck. The only inconvenience is that the follower RAFs don't go through the instance portal at instance completion so they must be manually moved 2 steps through the portal, and then back in, after each run. Using macros or a multiboxing addon like Hydra makes for easy 1 button following.

Has anyone done this for levels 58-80? Have any problems? Advice?
 
The RAF toons will exit the instance and re enter about 1-2 minutes after the tank has came out and reset the instance. If for some reason they aren't doing that on their own, let me know.

Of course I will need to know which instance and whether the issue is with entering or exiting the instance.

I am aware that there are a few locations where the RAF toons are a little out of range for the 3X XP. This is due to some mechanic changes whith recent patches. When I get a chance, I will update the RAF profiles to follow a little closer to the tank. Bare in mind I have written over 700 profiles which I maintain on a SVN and it takes time to update everything.
