Tony's Time Lost Proto Drake Profile/Storm Peaks

hey Tony - wanted to thank you for this Profile.

I was collecting herbs and ore when i stumbled upon the Drake. I stayed on him until my girlfriend got there - she is happy - lol - so im happy.
just a matter of time - for my chance.

hehe,nice story :)
 
lol on server dath'remar. saw it in the morning killed it got mount. 8 hours later realized it was still roaming because it started beeping. so i looked at my _npc scan to see time lost proto-drake yet again. invited my friend to group, changed looting to ffa, killed it then i sold it on the trade channel for 100k. invited guy to group and he looted the mount.
thanks for my 5 min 100k tony :D donating right now.

I thought if you kill a mob/boss only the people in the group at that time could loot it, if you invite someone they cant loot it even if you have ffa on??

yes it's totally possible, people actually sell the mount that way.
 
You can't... If they aren't in 100yds range when the mob dies, they can't loot it.
 
f*ck me.... I had been running this for five hours and the alarm goes. I run over just in time to see a dude take off on the drake! I hadent even seen another player in five hours! I /w him and he said he just "happened by"..... GAH!!!!!! At lest I got plenty of herb from it! :-)

oh...what a bad luck....
 
you can't loot the creature no matter the distance no matter the mode if you weren't in the group when it was killed, it's how the game was made.
