Which acts are you farming, which classes, stats (dps, hp, allres, loh, critchance%, critdamage% etc..) and how many deaths per hour on average?

Also can include which skills and passives you are using if you want.

I think this thread will be helpful for people who are thinking about champion farming or doing act I and want to move to higher acts.

Act 2 Farming - Witch Doctor - 15k dps, 48k hp, 960 resist all, 4272 life regen, poison summoner build with about 2-3 deaths per hour.

Glad to see a WD, as a matter of fact my WD is outperforming my barb and monk in everything atm...even paragon levels xD

4272 life regen as in life per second or life per hit? I'm guessing, LOH. Nice stats. :)

Barb Act 2

Buffed Stats:
41k HP
8.3k Armor
21k DPS
1000 All Res
44% Block
0 LoH, 0 LS
Leap/Frenzy/WoTB/WarCry/Revenge/Rend + Ruthlessness/Weapon Master/Bul-Kathos
240% MF with NV

Low DPS made up by WoTB + Bul Kathos

Almost never die. I usually watch movies or whatever on my PC while watching my bot. I die to only nasty nasty NASTY combos. or More than 2 packs at a time. It can usually do 2 packs easily.
 
These stats are self buffed with Rage, Cry and passives:

45k hp
9000 armor
24k DPS
1550 life on hit
1250 resist all
25% block (stormshield - so also the reduced dmg)
16% crit


Farming Act 3 with 2 deaths every 2-3 hours.



Edit: As I said that, it just died 5 times in a row to a pack at the very start, cos it couldnt maneuvor anywhere lol. Havent seen that happen before ^^

Pets tanking and dealing damage, plus locust swarm. I mean it does take a little bit to kill the mobs but im also avoiding everything and they still take damage due to the pets and the swarm.

Life regen as in life per second, im 2nd in the world for the stat i prefer it to keep my pets up 100% of the time and it doesn't do too bad of a job keeping me alive.

Why run act 2? The place has so few packs close. have to run for like 10 min to find 1 pack

Much more crowded in act 1

59k dps Self buffed
6700 armor
700 res all

act one cant drop i62 and i63 legendaries/sets.

the truth of the matter is. If you arent farming a3. you are not being very efficient.

Its much more worth it to spent 40-60m today to build an a3 farmer.

or 10-15m for an a2 farmer is even better at least.

than 4m for an a1 farmer. Just my 2 cents.

also, there is no way a barb is running a3 with just 3-4 deaths per hour average, unless you literally have 60k dps base with 1.5k LOh with 1.1k AR and 9k armor with like 50k base hp.

elsewise rend wont heal enough and being melee to some of these monsters ( continuously respawning things in sky crown and stonefort) making farming as melee really slow.

after doing some research and testing, my 50m geared WD(44k dps, 700LOH, 49k hp, 700AR,3.5k armor) is out performing my 30m geared barb (44k hp 1200LOH, 9.5k armor, 30k dps buffed, 1.2k AR, 41k hp) by a long shot, my WD is actually averaging 2-4 deaths per hour ( i check logs because the number of the demonbuddy screen is unreliable) where as my barb was somewhere near 5-8 deaths per hour. Also, my barb was running a3 at less than 2/3 the speed of my WD. As stated above, im going to guess its due to the fallen prophets constantly respawning crap.
 
Anyone botting Act 3 with whirlwind barb? What are good starting budget stats and gears?

you sure about that?

"Higher level items (iLevel 61 and 62) will now drop as early as Acts III and IV (Hell dofficulty) - but with a far lower drop rate than Inferno. iLevel 63 items will during all Inferno acts, at a higher rate the further you progress."
 
It works like jeweler designs and crafting plans.....

Trust me. I botted a2 with 3 barb bots (150 base mf each) for about 100 hours each post 1.04 and not a single i63 set/legendary. But tons of i62 and below.

The only good legendary/set that can drop from a2 is the rings/ammies. I got 2 zuni rings and 1 blackthorne medal since 1.04 in a2. But not a single i63 legendary/set... So im pretty sure.

Make a post asking if people got a i62 legendary in act1 and if they got any i63 legendary in a2 if you dont beleive me.

i got hellrack in act1 which is ilvl 61.

I would rather bot with a range dps than melee dps. WD got some buffs so they might be as good as a barb. I'm thinking of leveling up a WD. Can you post a screen shot of your spec, stats, and gears?
 
Running my barb on act 2 for over 12h w/o deaths...

stats buffed
40k hp
6% life steel
1k life per sec
500 loh
70k dps
6k def
30% crit
crit dmg 150% (yeah its low but he hits for 150~250k normal attack)

Pretty sure it can handle act 3 with no more then 1-2 deaths hour! Altough that custed me bout 50m or so to set up...

Using rend/revenge as dmger bout 500k/dps with skills procs... in fact I just raising a bit further my hp 70k+ mark so I can handle act 3 with 0 deaths/h.

But just to say, barb still best farmer, get leap+sprint(marathon)+furious charge with a decent gear (100m+) he can do any profile in half time comparing to other classes.

Patch 1.0.4

All item level 61 set pieces have been increased to item level 63 (excluding rings and amulets), and had their base item changed from late hell/early inferno to late inferno.

Let me guess, 0 base mf. id rather take a 30k dps loss and get 150+ base mf. 150 mf makes farming 2x effective. Now that all the money is in legenaries. It would be especially unwise and stupid to bot without it D: Mf is super expensive.

130str/130vit/65ar pants is only like 2-3 mil. add 15mf on those same pair and now its like 10m for them. Just to give you an idea of how much people still value MF.

I also got 0 MF - spend my gold on the gear I want, once I hit paragon cap ;-). Then your MF gear will be useless anyway!
