do you mind posting your WD build?

act one cant drop i62 and i63 legendaries/sets.
also, there is no way a barb is running a3 with just 3-4 deaths per hour average, unless you literally have 60k dps base with 1.5k LOh with 1.1k AR and 9k armor with like 50k base hp.
I'm running Act 3 with 6 to 7 deaths per hour with a barb. 13k dps, 43k hp, 900 LoH, 750 AR, 6500 armor (unbuffed). Cost was about 10 million. Also has 8000 thorns (unbuffed), not sure how effective it is. Runs are about 40 minutes.

I know that's not 3-4 deaths per hour, but it still works.
 
Let me guess, 0 base mf. id rather take a 30k dps loss and get 150+ base mf. 150 mf makes farming 2x effective. Now that all the money is in legenaries. It would be especially unwise and stupid to bot without it D: Mf is super expensive.

130str/130vit/65ar pants is only like 2-3 mil. add 15mf on those same pair and now its like 10m for them. Just to give you an idea of how much people still value MF.

Actually I got bout 50mf starting and paragon atm at 20, so 110% at start. 175% with nv atm...

And all reports so far I've looked at, the mf itself gave at 200-300% an extra 1 rare per elite or 20rares per run... and about the legendary didn't made a difference... only on really long logs countin days and not hours(1 extra legendary bout 48-72h)... so its not worth the extra 50-100m u would put on the mf... just sell the gold get another bot and u have 2x drop instead of a increment of 10-15%...

How do you deal with the fallen grunts in stonefort and skycrown that continuously respawn? thats the problem with barbarians... They waste so much time kiling those things. My barb has essentially better stats thans than yours other than 10k less dps. but my barb "should" perform better and its not. So i find it hard to believe you getting such good results D:

If you have high DPS, you killed those minions instantly and can move on.

That. The 2 deaths an hour come from desecrate or arcane coupled with jailer or waller that prevents my char from escaping and he doesnt attack, which im sure will be fixed in a future combat routine patch. You have to remember that not only does the added dps make white mobs a non factor but it also increases my life leech so the stat mitigation im losing is made up by the leech I gain from the extra damage for rend. Especially when rend crits, my life doesnt move.
 
So nobody has a monk farming A3? I'm curious about needed stats for that (even with a few deaths)
 
Gardettos act2 profile editted to skip part 5 til the end which the is part which gets stuck all the time
 
Is block chance important?? I'm thinking about getting my block chance to 50% with helm of command, stormshield and justice lantern (a bit crappy stats but has high block chance)

How are you guys farming act 2 lol there aren't any good profiles out yet, it gets stuck a lot


I run with 34% now with HoC and a good shield. (26%). Justice Lantern may be overkill for most of it but do it if you can afford it, its great mitigation.

I do, my advice is to roll a barb. Seriously, it's so much easier to gear a Barb to do Act 3 then to gear a Monk.

My Monk stats:
41k HP
900 AR (Without Time of Need)
27k DPS
700 LoH(Working on this)
37% Block
46% Dodge( With Mantra of Evasion)
485 Life Regeneration
7k Armor
28% Crit Chance
229% Crit Damage

I get owned by anything with Molten/Desecrator/Arcane usually have to die and come back to kill them. I don't know why the jump is so bug I can face roll Act 2 but in Act 3 it's like everything hits like a goddamn truck.

So, the life steal in inferno is 1/3rd of what it should be, so the bloodlust for 1% life steal may be better used elsewhere.

So lifesteal from skills is different, but from an item, yes. Like the 9% from rend I don't think is 3%... but I'm not 100% on that. I am pretty darn sure the bloodlust is only 1% in inferno though.
 
Act 3 i get about 2 deaths per hour with these stats.

haha, your stimulation test says 29% block is better than 38% block? all that numbers do not make sense, sorry.

currently running act 2 with 16k dps, 23k hp, 1.5k loh, 1.2k ar/buffed, 35%block stormshield, 270 mf - with about 1 death per run (frenzy/revenge/ignorepain/sprint/wotb/warcry + defense passives)
