Three Musketeers - fast legendary farm after 2.0.4

Im not interested in going trough 131 pages to look for a specifik answer and im quite sure its been answered before but ill ask anyways :) does anyone have a good crusaderbuild for ghom?

Are you interested in using the search function and typing in "Crusader" into there?
 
Just found TF running Kevin's profile on my WIZARD!

T3 Kulle for 24 hours. Averaged 2.2 LPH and was running 53 GPH. 0 deaths.

Could go up to T4 but the GPH drops down to 48 and wasn't worth it to me and had about .5-1 Death/hour.

These are great changes and much needed. Now, maybe you can help with a couple more changes that need made I believe. Marked for death mortal enemy seems to cast every 5 seconds or so? I found an old thread by Kevin and it says what to change in TVARS but it has no effect. Dont know why?

Also another very bothering thing is I have Marauders 4 peice bonus. So i get all the pet passive/actives. It will activate the active right away when fighting ghom/kulle what seems like Before i even start firing. To me, it would make much more sense to wait 5 seconds or so to activate for several reasons:

1) Using the passive ambush - having 30% more dmg (from wolf) AFTER you get past 75% would be alot more beneficial as thats when you would need it more
2) You get restored hatred from bat when you actually need it instead of wasted at beginning of fight
3) Your get restored hatred (reapers wraps/blood veangence) and health from getting globes (ferretts) instantly
4) Other actives would add to damage AFTER the initial burndown which is when its needed.

Basically the difference between me doing t4 to t5 is these two above issues :P


Just a couple things I noticed that could vastly improve dps/survive-ability

1+4. Don't know if you played a damage dealer in WOW, but you always want to align multiplicative damage buffs, that way you get the fastest kill time.
The boss is then at lower hp when your buffs run out, or in the best case, already dead.
2. Select the Bat rune. That way, the bot should trigger it after you dropped the first 60 hatred.
It might be a good idea to change the bat trigger to 50 [ && Player.PrimaryResourceMissing >= 50 ], else he might use bat and punishment at the same time.
For example when you are at 58 hatred missing, you use a Cluster Arrow, and drop to 80 hatred missing. In that moment both triggers are activated, and he will overcap you with 125 hatred generated.
3. there is atm no logic programmed for the ferretts

Fire has historically been the strongest single target damage element. When you stack several pieces of +% element damage, it significantly increases your damage - but not your character screen dps. For barbs, fire is the only viable option (all the best dmg runes are fire based). You can do the same with +poison, or whatever else you have.

For my WD, I happened to have a cindercoat, and other +fire items so I customized my build for fire. (Fire Garg, Fire zombie charger, Firebomb)

So when someone posts it, its to help other people understand what build they are using. "T4 pet WD", "T2 ww barb" etc.

I know, but I never see the lightning build in these forums while that's easier for monks I believe.

Thanks for the reply Morchel. yes ideally, that would be great but I have already selected the bat rune and it instantly uses it before even attacking, not sure if it is something with marauders or why it would do that but it certainly does.

Also, any clue as to why marked for death/mortal enemy remarks every 5 seconds or so?

EDIT: to clarify on the companion activation it seems to activate right with veangence and ROV.

I tested the bat rune. It is working fine for me without the marauder set. There is a detection for which rune is active, i guess internally they are all active for you.
You could just out comment the other rune functions. That way only the 60 hatred missing function will activate the skill.

Edit: Marked for Death is set to 3 seconds in the trinity variables interface, you can change that to 30000 if you want.

@asic: Your profile runs great (60 games/h Ghom t4), but i deleted that use power line, i am not comfortable with forcing a disconnect after each game.

i modified the ghom file, it runs now a few seconds faster

-worldmap instead of waypoint
-removed waittime after enter the larder
-removed 1 move to position action

Thank you for this, and thanks to Kevin Spacey for making the original profile, I will try this out.

EDIT: Wow F-me, killed ghom, leg amulet dropped but it disconnected and bot didn't pickup, too late to manually fix it... =*( could have been a maras...

I guess the wait timer after loot drop is important because it seems to miss legs this way. I tried testing in for rare pickups, It seems for this modified profile it doesn't always pickup items, including legendaries because of the quick disconnection.

Needs some slight tuning or else at the moment its not useful because it misses items.

you can add waittimer after loot drop or after killing the boss, thats why i write profile like it supposed to be

Indeed, guess it's better I learn from the 1st bot run than having it run for hours and then miss tons of legendaries.

Here's my new setup for Ghom as Barbarian after the Shard of Hate hotifx:

Barbarian - Game Guide - Diablo III

Using Charge with Stun cuz my neck summons pets when I stun something, you can replace this with Earthquake (Lightning DMG Rune)

Shard of Hate + Odyn Son weapons

+Lightning Skills Damage: 72.00% - This could be 20% higher, my neck sucks =(
+Damage Against Elites: 54.00% (SOJ - Unity - Blackthorne Set 2/2)

1.1m DMG unbuffed / 3.3mil DMG buffed

Ghom is dead with about 5-6 secs left on WOTB.

Total games joined: [58,92 per hour]
Total XP gained:[1452,5 million per hour]
Total Gold gained: [7343,1 Thousand per hour]

Hope this helps you barbs, SoH isn't dead yet!

very frustrated. ive tried everything. as demon hunter, i cannot beat ghom.

ive searched the entire thread (even my prior posts) and ive changed the ghom gas to 20 and health to 100, avoid aoe, etc. can someone please pm me or comment here with the exact settings needed for demon hunter for ghom plz? i will donate to you. although i dont have mara's neck for the poison regen, my gear is far and beyond whats needed. main problem is i will move a little to the left once the initial poison cloud hits me, but i dont move far enough and not only am i still standing in poison, i dont attack. i dont even see ghom. on t2 if i manually move myself out of gas, 2 cluster bombs takes him from 100% to 0%.

ghom profile is freezing the shit out of my diablo 3. the game and bot will still run, but it looks like it's just frozen and i can't fix it without restarting

Samething happening to me with Kulle profile 0.4. I'm kinda thinking it's a DB/Trinity issue, i'm running the latest beta and trinity .22
