Three Musketeers - fast legendary farm after 2.0.4

use trinity .20

Tried it, it doesn't cast BBV or FA until Ghom at 75% health as well.

Also for trinity .20 it's even worst than .22 in the sense that it doesn't cast the legendary potion for me for some reason, yes I put the legendary potion in my potion bar.

hm.. i think they just buffed Ghom, i was able to do T5 without dying, now have to go back to do T4.
 
Ghom wasn't buffed, Still the same hp he has always had, as well as damage. I would be running T5 Ghom but I simply don't have high enough damage even with like 1.8m elemental elite dmg unbuffed. I would need maybe a 2400dps int tfury with a socket and it MIGHT Be possible to kill him in <20 seconds or less. On T4 I kill Ghom in about 13 archon seconds, and usually by time teleport goes off im just wearing off. Anyway I just blew over 70 forgotten souls rerolling gear on my barb and a little on my monk. Barb is finally getting geared up, My monk I do not care too much about since hes my 3rd character I ever plan on using just incase character powers change. Still enjoying my wizard, Wont stop playing and probably botting him until I get a thunderfury and 4pc talrasha bonus set with a mirrorball! But its always good to keep your options open, IE if I had a SoH like my buddy found on his wizard he put it on his barb with maras amulet and went ham on T6 Ghom for the last week getting over 2.3 LPH+ over a hundred or more paragon levels/crazy gold. Something he would not have been able to have done with SoH on a wizard, Hence the pending nerf on SoH because its too overpowered for classes like barb WW.
 
I can confirm my WD is not using Big bad voodoo either, until late in the fight - or not at all. This is on latest DB and Trinity.

I'll try on Trinity .18 and see if that's better. There is a fix for potions in Trinity .18,19 and 20: http://www.thebuddyforum.com/demonbuddy-forum/plugins/trinity/157887-trinity-health-potion-fix.html

Tried the Potion Fix for .18 apparently it doesn't work? Even comments in that post indicate that it wasn't properly working, atleast not in .18

Also reinstalled a new DB and tried trinity .20, nada still doesn't cast BBV or FA until ghom is already 25%+ damaged. Reverted to trinity .18 and the casting for BBV and FA works perfect, but that still leaves the legendary potion issue...

SoH Hotfix is live, can't even do T3 on my Barb now :( Back to my wiz.
 
About Big bad vodoo: BBV only triggers when ghom is nearer than 12 yard or feet or whatever.

If your pets are tanking him too far away, it probably will never get triggered. You have to adjust that setting depending on your skill ranges. Maybe try 25f. If its too high, he will cast it at the entrance and then run out of it into the middle of the room.
 
This profile works great for 7 hours or so then the char starts to just port in waypoint then leaving. Also demonbuddy does not shut off even though i begin to exceed 80 games/hour?

First time running ghom profile, I woke up to this happening today.
 
I don't get it... my wizzard can only get about 39-40 gph on T2 while my barb can do 50-55 gph on T2. My wizard is much better geared than my barb. It's mainly due to the barb being able to use call of the ancients to assist in faster killing....
I've tried setting trinity for wizard like someone else who posted here and it's just not cutting it. Barb does it much faster...
 
My only problem with this profile: having a wizard without a whole bunch of healing, bot loves to back himself into a corner and get raped by Ghom up close. Is there a way to make the bot avoid cornering himself against the walls and Ghom? I feel like a barb would do this much more efficiently..

I used Trinity 1.8.13 and do not have this problem. I actually had a problem with it casting BBV/Gargantuan too early, so that it would do it on approach and waste it (my champ would have to walk out of it to use firebats and the garg would waste 3-4 seconds just walking to Ghom.

The profile below works great to eliminate this problem, if anyone else has their BBV/Garg casting too early.

Apologies if this has already been addressed --

is there a reason the bot stops at Ghom's entrance for ~4 seconds before beginning the event?

And is there a reason that the bot runs away from the corpse to teleport at the other side of the room?
